When I took the 2022 Ford Escape for a test drive, before buying it, there was some dirt inside. I let Mike, my salesman, know and he got it all cleaned up for me before buying it! The reviews seem great, which is what made me choose this lot to begin with. I was super excited about my purchase initially, however unfortunately for me that was short-lived.... I just got my car from Aut lot to begin with. I was super excited about my purchase initially, however unfortunately for me that was short-lived.... I just got my car from Auto Nation Ford in Arlington 3 weeks ago. Low and behold... as soon as my perm tags come in, I go to pick them up- and my transmission light comes on... literally as soon as I pull into the lot. I immediately go to the service department who advises they do not have a technician qualified at their location to fix/troubleshoot my transmission. He went on to say that it would be A WEEK before my car can be sent to a shop with qualified mechanics, then potentially longer to actually fix it. Trying to remain understanding, I asked if there were loner cars available in the meantime, because again... I JUST GOT THIS CAR 3 WEEKS AGO. He said "No". Literally baffling. I went inside the building and attempted to seek help from others inside the building to no avail. Im really disappointed that when purchasing this vehicle I was sold a dream, I asked before buyingy car, if loners were offered and was lied to.. just to get a sale. Typical right? Right. So here I am, with my first note not even due yet, after spending thousands on a down payment, without a car or loner to get me around in the meantime. Please be cautious before purchasing from here, I can only speak from my personal experience and once an issue occurs they leave you high and dry, with a smile. Updates to come as this progresses. When it was time to wrap it up and get the vehicle, they switched the vehicle. They said the vehicle we agreed upon was not available and so the just switched it this older one without informing us It was also a lemon. I am just glad they refunded our money. Stay away from this place. More
