AutoNation Amherst has always done a great job servicing my vehicles. In this instance, I had just bought a new Ford Ranger and ordered a hard tonneau cover for my vehicle. It was slated to arrive by Thursd my vehicles. In this instance, I had just bought a new Ford Ranger and ordered a hard tonneau cover for my vehicle. It was slated to arrive by Thursday, so I preemptively scheduled a service appointment for the Friday. When I contacted the dealership on Tuesday, they advised the part was already in and offered to bump my scheduling up if I wanted. I had other scheduled obligations so I was not able to take advantage of the scheduling. On Wednesday, an appointment I had ended far quicker than scheduled in the late afternoon, so I called the dealership and asked if they might be able to see me immediately (2 hours before closing); I could hear the representative checking their scheduling system for several seconds and then he said if I could bring it in immediately they would make sure to fit me in. I was able to be there within 10 minutes and they completed the install on the fly 2 days earlier than the appointment I had on the books. Their ability and willingness to adapt to my changing schedule on the fly is commendable and goes beyond what is expected of normal service. For that, they deserve this positive review. More
