When I arrived, they didn't have the oil filter for the car but assured me (at 9am) it would be delivered by 3pm. I told them I didn't want to wait that long, but would be back on Friday morning to have the work completed. I fortunately called Friday morning before driving down to Colorado Springs for the service work, because the service rep I talked with at 8am said he didn't know if the filter was in, but he would check and call me back; he didn't. At 9am I called again and spoke with a young woman in the service department who checked on the status of the oil filter and told me that it would be delivered at noon today. I told her that it was supposed to be in on Tuesday afternoon at 3pm and she only apologized, saying that their parts supplier didn't have one in stock and it wouldn't be delivered until noon today (Friday). I informed her that I had been told Tuesday it would be delivered by 3pm Tuesday, but she offered no explanation for the discrepancy. I told her to call me when the filter was actually in their hands and I'd reschedule the maintenance then. We'll see if I actually get that call back . . . More
If at first you do not succeed I had a not so great experience with this service department at first. After expressing my dissatisfaction the service department supervisor Andy cal I had a not so great experience with this service department at first. After expressing my dissatisfaction the service department supervisor Andy called me personally to apologize and wanted to make things right. He listened to everything I had to say about the experience and about how I did not feel my car was fixed. He readmitted my vehicle, covered a rental car for me, and had all repairs done within a day but kept the car another day just to make sure things were actually taken care of himself and still covered the rental. My car was actually repaired this time and they had also detailed it for me. The return trip to this service department was much more pleasant than the first and I felt that the work had actually been done. The supervisor was extremely pleasant to speak with and had great customer service, very helpful and obliging. I feel much more comfortable going back to this department for service now because of the much better service I received :) So here is my first review of this service department: (If you are female don't bother taking your vehicle here to get service, you will just get looks like you do not know what you are talking about. Then they will make it seem like a rental car will be covered, have your car for nearly a week, then you go to get it come to find out that it was not covered. Not only that but the issue that I had shown a picture of the tire pressure sensor/ pounds, to the service guy to prove I did not just need to put air in my tire, and told him the exhaust was making a noise and described that noise to him. Well the tire pressure is when I got the "you are just a girl, you don't know what you're talking about, it just needs air" look, and then 2 days later my husband had to go in (because I could not get off of work and he was already off work) to show the technician what the exhaust was doing. meanwhile, the service guy tried calling the wrong phone number to contact my husband. another 2 days goes by and one phone call, we are told there is nothing wrong with the tires or sensors so they put air in them and put them back on. AND the technician had grind down my trailer hitch where the exhaust was hitting it AFTER they were told NOT to. I do not want my 2013 vehicle to be jerry rigged, the tech should have loosened the bolts and put the trailer hitch back 1/4 inch to elevate the problem, but no he didn't, instead he did what we told the service guy we did not want them to do and then the service acts like they did us a HUGE favor by doing the work for free. The experience was nothing but miscommunications between the service guy, the technician, and the customer. Terrible experience more than once, doesn't seem like they care about the quality of their work, or how a customer feels. Frustrating!) More
I just got back from this service department and have to say I did not leave a satisfied customer! Yesterday I called and scheduled for my car to go in and when I got there today there was nothing even writ say I did not leave a satisfied customer! Yesterday I called and scheduled for my car to go in and when I got there today there was nothing even written down about my appointment!! I walk in and no one is even acknowledging us to let me know that the appointment I made yesterday apparently wasn't important enough to even write down. (I wish I had the name of the person I spoke with). Takes an hour for oil change, tire rotation, and new air filter, this is just fine. However when I get back into my car after everything is done there is a giant grease stain in my car in the shape of some technicians footprint!! Also usually they'll run my car through the wash real quick and that sure didn't happen either...customer service skills at this place severely lacking More
Well, I already completed this once, and ended up getting kicked out before I could submit it, so let me try this again, since I really do want to say how great this dealership is, and the people who helped kicked out before I could submit it, so let me try this again, since I really do want to say how great this dealership is, and the people who helped me, it was a wonderful experience. I did not come there to buy a car, but to make an appt for recall work on my Jeep, so the fact that I came away with the car of my dreams is amazing to me, and I have to thank Johnny for that, for going out of his way to find it for me. I have wanted a Nissan Xterra forever, and they had an older model, older than my trade in, and only 2WD, which I just couldn't do, so Johnny found one that had just come in that day and was still in the back getting safety checked, it wasn't even on the lot yet, it was a 2011, 4WD, everything I wanted, I saw it, and it was love at first sight. Ian helped me all day to find a car I liked, well into the evening, and we went on three test drives, but I'm very picky, and this would be my last vehicle, hopefully. He was so nice, and patient with me, and really tried to find the right vehicle for me, he's a very good salesman, and so helpful. It was only his 3rd day, so Jeff came and helped him with paperwork and getting my info, etc., very knowledgeable, and a great guy, made sure everything was right, and then walked me to get the financing paperwork done. Luis came and explained some on the info to me, and Doug did my financing paperwork, they both had minimal parts in my personal experience, but they were both very nice. I had to come back the next day to bring some paperwork and get some items I left in my Jeep, and Jeff actually met me at my car, I was impressed. We took care of the paperwork, then drove to my car, and he got everything for me. Everyone has been so nice and helpful, I'm almost sad to have the whole experience end, but I have my dream car, so it's a happy good-by. I would whole heartedly recommend this dealership. More
Just went in to have our 2008 2500 Dodge Ram serviced, the 30,000 mile service. Went into the showroom and looked at the 2012 3500 Longhorn, was so surprised by the interior. Was not intending to buy a ne the 30,000 mile service. Went into the showroom and looked at the 2012 3500 Longhorn, was so surprised by the interior. Was not intending to buy a new truck, especially from THIS dealership. In 2008 when we purchased the 2500 it was a horrible experience. Our salesman was sooo pushy and rude, should have walked out then. We realized, after getting home that the verbal deal we had made was not what we signed on the paperwork, it was such a rushed process during signing. We went back into the dealership the next morning ready to just give the 2500 back. They would not "cancel" the deal and instead gave us 1/2 off a few Mopar accessories. I have not had good things to say about the dealership since then, until now. When going in to pick up our 2500 after the service was done (yes we still had our truck serviced here, the service dept. has always been great, Pete is wonderful!)we went into the showroom again. We spoke to Lauren and informed her that we did love this 3500 truck BUT explained the 2008 experience, also it would have to be a "deal of a lifetime" for us to purchase anything from this dealership. She quickly had sales manager Paul involved. Let me just say that the two of them made up for everything we had gone through before. We bought the 2012 3500. Our deal was more than fair. We appreciated all the courtesy, kindness and even friendship we felt. I would now highly recommend Co Springs Dodge. Please go see Lauren and Paul, they'll treat you right--great people! More
