My experience with AutoNation, specifically with their commercial manager Amy, was nothing short of a nightmare dressed as a business transaction. The disdain and utter lack of professionalism I encounter commercial manager Amy, was nothing short of a nightmare dressed as a business transaction. The disdain and utter lack of professionalism I encountered was mind-boggling. It's as if the concept of customer service was an alien notion to her. Each unanswered call, each moment of silence, felt like a slap in the face—a clear message that my business, and by extension, I myself, were of no consequence.Imagine reaching out six times, each call echoing into a void, punctuated by a single, half-hearted callback that served only to highlight Amy's apparent irritation at having to deal with a "mere" small business owner looking to purchase three trucks. It was a masterclass in how to alienate and dishearten a customer. The message was crystal clear: I was an annoyance, an unwelcome interruption to her day.This wasn't just rudeness; it was an outright dismissal, a level of unprofessionalism so profound it left me reeling. It's one thing to miss a call, but it's an entirely different universe to make a customer feel like an unwelcome burden. This wasn't merely a lost sale; it was a lost opportunity for AutoNation to show that it values every customer, regardless of the size of their purchase.I was driven away, not just by the absence of service, but by the palpable disdain with which I was treated. My advice to anyone considering giving their business to AutoNation, especially to those dealing with Amy, is to run—not walk—in the opposite direction. There are places where your business and you as a person will be valued and respected. Unfortunately, AutoNation, under Amy's guidance, is not that place.
