This was the single worst experience I have ever had for service repair in my entire life!!!! While the service person pleasant and personable, she had no idea what she was doing. She had to check with some service repair in my entire life!!!! While the service person pleasant and personable, she had no idea what she was doing. She had to check with someone to answer my every question. the last straw at your service department was telling me they could not get the seat parts because the vehicle was so old, and that even if they could get the part it would be over a $1,000.00!!! The cost of my visit was over $200.00! and I got nothing for it. I took the vehicle home, and my neighbor found the part for $250. We decided to take a shot at fixing it ourselves. We spent just 2 hours repairing the seat part so that it was usable. We reinstalled the seat, put it in a usable position, with only the back-and-forth switch not working. There is a manual adjustment on the side of the seat part so that I can move the seat to the position I needed and finished up in just an added 10 minutes!!! We are mechanics but we wear able to fix the van seat in under 2 and a half hours. I do not know what your trained service personnel are usually able to do, but they should have been able to do this at the least, in 3 days. So, I must conclude that they were either not very well trained, or they were incompetent. I will probably not be using your service department any time in the near future, unless of course, you were to refund what we paid you for your services, and compensate us for the time we had to spend fixing the problem. Sorry if this sounds harsh, however, even now when I think of this, I can't help but be angry with the experience! More
Overall, I had a positive, yet frustrating experience. I originally brought my Jeep in for a service appointment (scheduled two weeks in advance) and had to wait an additional 16 days for it to be serv I originally brought my Jeep in for a service appointment (scheduled two weeks in advance) and had to wait an additional 16 days for it to be serviced. When diagnostics were finally completed, the amount of work that needed to be done exceeded the value of the car, so I spoke with the sales team to discuss options. I looked at several different cars and sat down with a sales rep discussing different payment plans and trade-in pricing. They had an attitude of “no-pressure” sales, so I asked if I could come in the next day after having thought about the options because I did not want to make the decision rashly. The sales supervisor then came over to understand why I was hesitant and I was transparent about my frustrations over my old car and was honest about not being in a place emotionally to buy a vehicle. We had several lengthy negotiations on price-points and warranties and we eventually came to what I saw as a good deal on a used vehicle. I was there from 10am until 7pm negotiating, waiting, and signing paperwork. I wasn’t told until after the paperwork was completed that a new battery had been ordered for my newly purchased vehicle and it would need to be delivered to me. I kept my old Jeep until the new car was delivered to me a week later. I love my new vehicle and I think eventually I was able to get a pretty good deal. However, I believe that they took advantage of my vulnerability and were not as transparent with me as I was with them. I also believe I could have gotten a better monetary deal somewhere else, however, the staff were empathetic of my circumstances and were patient with me the entire day while I made my decisions. I do not recommend this process if you are an impatient person or do not negotiate/advocate for yourself well. More
