I bought my Jeep here, I've had it serviced here before with mixed results. My last visit I have never ever been treated so poorly by ANY person in the service industry. The award winner for worst behavio with mixed results. My last visit I have never ever been treated so poorly by ANY person in the service industry. The award winner for worst behavior is Alec Johannesman after I decided NOT to get the repairs done because the price was not ok with me. When I showed up the next day to pick up my Jeep, it was not ready supposedly. He said the mechanic was on lunch and may have my keys. I questioned why a mechanic would have my keys because it was looked at yesterday and no work was going to be done. I asked for my car and the bill after pushing back on the different excuses he gave me. All of these were on the list of excuses as I pushed back on each one he told me: mechanic may still have tools in the vehicle, mechanic may have my keys in his toolbox which may be locked, we don't have the paperwork ready, we can't get the paperwork ready until the mechanic comes back, etc. I informed him all of that should have been completed yesterday after I refused to have the work done there. They finally went and found the mechanic and got me my car after an argument was about to happen because he was so rude. Another person came out to help and all of the sudden the mechanic wasn't at lunch anymore and the paperwork, which should have been completed the previous day, was completed and I got my car. They were literally holding my car hostage because I didn't want to pay $1000 dollars for a $160 part I could install myself in 5 minutes. They wanted over 500 for the part and 350 for labor plus tax. It's sad they try to charge people for several hours of labor and triple the price of the part, which I didn't even know at the time. They also informed me my car was stuck in 4wd low, which it wasn't. I wouldn't trust them, this is the second time I've had a bad experience there and won't be back, ever. I was going to buy a new car, a jeep, but have since decided to get a Toyota Tundra. PS They also wanted another $3,500 for an unrelated leak that also would cost 1/2 the price elsewhere. If you want to get ripped off, love horrible customer service, and don't value your money, go here for repairs and service. I should note, he tried to be nice as we walked to find my car. I told him his behavior was unacceptable. I said he was losing money because of they way he treated me. He said he wasn't because I wan't having the repairs done despite just paying them $350 to have it looked at and have the sunroof recalibrated, again. I laughed and told him they weren't selling a new car to me so they did lose money. Maybe they will realize this guy is costing them more than he is worth someday. More
This was my first visit for service and Ronnie Alberty was very good to work with. He clearly explained what might need to be done depending on the diagnostics results for the inoperative radio and rear was very good to work with. He clearly explained what might need to be done depending on the diagnostics results for the inoperative radio and rear hatch. The bill for the cost of repairs was more than I thought we would have to pay, but I understand the Jeep service guys have to adhere to the labor and parts costs Jeep corporate requires them to quote. If I have to return for any reason for service Ronnie would be the person I want to deal with. My only recommendation is when a radio is switched out that had Sirius music option tell the customer to contact Sirius for reactivation. More
AutoNation sent me an email about a recall. I was instructed to call and check availability of parts. I was told they have the parts and was scheduled for 8:30 appointment. I arrived and they t I was instructed to call and check availability of parts. I was told they have the parts and was scheduled for 8:30 appointment. I arrived and they took the Jeep in. After 11:30 I went to stretch my legs and I see the Jeep outside, I go back inside to wait for someone to contact me. After another 15 minutes I go ask the service person what is going on? They don't even know where the Jeep is. They finally find the tech and he tells them they don't have the parts. Then they can't find the key! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! More
We were told by the technician Alan that we needed a new transmission and it would cost $10k or a remand for $8800. I expressed several times about the cost being an issue and he said he assures us that in transmission and it would cost $10k or a remand for $8800. I expressed several times about the cost being an issue and he said he assures us that in his experience we need a new transmission (warranty wouldn’t cover it because it was low on fluid he told us). I told Alan we are going to get a second opinion at a transmission shop. We had it towed to a transmission shop in Castle Rock and it needed a $400 part called a pressure transducer. And it wasn’t low on fluid. It is very disheartening that we trusted Auto Nation before with our cars but now I feel like we had to write this review so others won’t experience what we did. More
