I sold my Audi to Nathan Wesner. He’s amazing. He buys cars for the dealership and he had me in and out in less than an hour with a check in hand. He also arranged a ride back to my office and that save m cars for the dealership and he had me in and out in less than an hour with a check in hand. This was the first time we've purchased a vehicle from Auto Nation and we would do it again and again. We both feel we were lucky to get Roy as our sales rep. He was a true professional in every sense o Auto Nation and we would do it again and again. We both feel we were lucky to get Roy as our sales rep. He was a true professional in every sense of the word. Our calls were returned promptly, he answered all of our questions without hesitation, and trust me when I say, we had more than normal. He was true to his word and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Roy and Auto Nation to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. Roy totally changed our view on "car dealer salesmen." Auto Nation, give this man 5 stars, 5 gold stars. He was wonderful. It truly was a perfect experience. More
Not a pleasant experience. Scheduled several service items, oil change (bought the service package when we purchased the Wrangler), check engine light (Evap System) and a persistent leak (coolant). C items, oil change (bought the service package when we purchased the Wrangler), check engine light (Evap System) and a persistent leak (coolant). Check engine light was some sort of manifold fitting on the gas tank, required new gas tank. Asked simple question about why the tank was $348 on MoparParts.com but nearly $700 at the dealer, was informed either I didn't know what I was looking at, or didn't know what I was talking about. I was "politely" informed that I had the option to have my vehicle serviced anywhere. Coolant leak was found to be originating from the gasket at the rear of the intake manifold. Coincidentally, the Wrangler had received a new long block (blown engine after less than 9 months of ownership, bought engine warranty when purchased, fixed under warranty, not a happy experience, but it got fixed), installation performed by this dealership, not more than 6-7 months prior where the same gasket would have had to replaced. Not happy how the conversation was progressing with the fuel tank I asked the service advisor to check and let me know about the intake gasket. I attempted to call back about 45 minutes later with the intent to speak to the manager. The same service advisor that I had spoken to before answer the phone, I asked for the manager. Was told manager was unavailable and that he was the person working with me. To be fair, the "advisor" and I discussed the fuel tank again, and the part number he referred to was an assembly and the part number I had researched was only the tank. That could have been how the original conversation went, but it didn't and I was never transferred to the manager. Since they could not determine how the dealership would be reimbursed for the parts/labor to repair the leaking gasket, I ended up just paying for it. After nearly 3 weeks, I just wanted my Jeep back. So, I paid the almost $2800 for a new gas tank, new intake gasket and an oil change. I understand the dealership needs to get paid. I understand that not everything is covered under a warranty. I understand when you buy a used vehicle, things break. What I don't understand is why an "advisor" cannot have a productive conversation without being condescending. You never know who is on the other end of the call and after personally working with the powertrain folks in Auburn Hills (which is why I knew to buy the engine warranty) I am not some internet troll that tries to get things for free by complaining. I guess people have bad days. Picking up the vehicle was different. The "advisor" that handled the final transactions was pleasant even shocked at the invoice amount. Drop off and pick up has always been pleasant. Too bad. Regardless, although I paid for 2 years worth of oil changes. I won't take my vehicle back to this dealership for service. Maybe my experience can be used as a coaching moment. More
