I had a tremendous experience with the group @ AutoNation. Michelle, Walter, and Dean were professional and speedy in locating a fantastic vehicle for our family. AutoNation. Michelle, Walter, and Dean were professional and speedy in locating a fantastic vehicle for our family. More
We dealt Michelle buying our Ram 2500, very friendly and professional. We drove up from Jacksonville, Florida to get this vehicle and they worked to move the process along so we could start the trip back. professional. I want to apologize ahead of time for ranting, but thought I needed to get this off my chest. Bought this nice used 2018 Ram 2500 4X4 crew cab pickup in July 2022, and I’ve had nothing but issues wi thought I needed to get this off my chest. Bought this nice used 2018 Ram 2500 4X4 crew cab pickup in July 2022, and I’ve had nothing but issues with it since I purchased it. Two weeks after my purchase, it had issues with the number 3 fuel injector staying open. Even though I bought the extended warranty on it, I had to pay $875 out of pocket to supposedly have it fixed, but not so much. Two weeks later engine light comes back on, so I have the code checked once more same issue with #3 injector, took it back to be fixed, dealer calls me one day later and says it’s fixed. I asked them if it was fixed or did they just clear the code, (I told them I know how to clear the freaking code) their response was they cleared the code and to drive to see if it comes on again(unacceptable). Meanwhile I put a bumper guard, spray in bedliner, and a tunnel cover on it. After getting the tunnel cover installed the engine light comes on again (this is the same day I picked it up, supposedly after they fixed the injector issue again), so I drove it right back to the Ram dealership (Auto Nation in Columbus, Ga) they are supposed to have the #1 service department in the entire southeast, not anymore. Anyway, I had them check the code, and now it’s the transmission that went bad. Good thing now the warranty has gone in affect. The bad thing is that the warranty that I purchase (for $3500 dollars) will only cover $4500 of the $11,200 that it’s going to cost for a new transmission. They have been stringing me along since August 23, 2022 saying that it’s on back order, and wouldn’t be here until October 19th, 2022, then they said it won’t come in until 11/2/2022, and then last week they said it wouldn’t be here until 11/9/2022, and now the Ram dealership, and the Ram manufacturer both told me that there is not a transmission available for my truck. I am to the point now that I have to involve a lemon law lawyer to try and resolve this issue. This was my first experience with a Ram (Chrysler) vehicle, and last. I don’t ever plan on owning another Ram, or Chrysler product for the rest of my life. I’m a die hard Chevy guy, always have been, but I thought I would try something new, but after my experience, I will stick with my Chevy’s. Sorry again for ranting, but I’m just so pissed off. P.S. I hope this goes viral. More
My Wrangler has been to the dealership 4 times for the same issue and it is still not operating appropriately. They don’t listen. 2 days for diagnostics review is ridiculous after you make an appointment same issue and it is still not operating appropriately.
