I loved the no haggle price and being that I am from out of town they made my transaction easy and my salesperson had all my docs ready to go by the time I arrived to the dealership. It is nearly impossible to reach someone over the phone. Had to call five different numbers to finally get someone to answer the phone. It took seven days just to get a diagnosis on my vehicle. Were knowledgeable about their stock. Jayson was a perfect match for us. Blew through Finance Dept and then we were on the road. Jayson was a perfect match for us. Blew through Finance Dept and then we were on the road. More
Buyer beware of the so-called internet AutoNation Certified Offer on your trade-in. It is deceptive in my opinion. They will deduct a good amount off of the offer once they inspect the vehicle. Like Certified Offer on your trade-in. It is deceptive in my opinion. They will deduct a good amount off of the offer once they inspect the vehicle. Like for tires my car had 50,000 miles ($1200 to $1500 deduction) I had moisture in a tail light ($300 to $400 deduction) a tiny chip in windshield which had been repaired by windshield guy ($350 deduction) and then a ($600 shop fee deduction or whatever the fee was) to do the repairs to get the car ready to sell. So the instant cash offer would appear to be deceptive just to get you into the car lot....IMHO. Then when you get ready to sit down and discuss the price of the vehicle you've chosen to buy, after they have already bummed you out about your Instant Cash Offer on your trade-in, the sales manager will tell you he is not allowed to negotiate on the price of the vehicle. It is what it is. Who has ever heard of a used car lot where the price of the vehicle is not negotiable?? Sales Associate did an excellent job. But I will not buy from AutoNation ever again since the price of vehicles is not negotiable, and the Instant Cash Offer is not what it would seem. More
