As a salesperson all you have is your word and his word means absolutely nothing. Customer Service is everything for the reputation for any company. We recently purchased a Brand New 2024 Chrysler Pacifica PHEV with only 18 miles. Within 4 months, the transmission needed to be completely replaced. Not necessarily an AutoNation problem, but moving forward, I wish I did not buy it from Auto Nation. The vehicle completely broke down on a roadtrip while out of state in Sacramento, CA where I was forced to abandon the vehicle for weeks at a local dealership awaiting repairs. They put in a CarStar request to communicate directly with the Chrysler Engineers about the condition of the issue, meanwhile this problem previously occurred once before around 3,000 miles and we brought it to the attention of AutoNation for assistance and they basically wiped the codes from the vehicle and said, “It does that from time to time, just let the car cool down for 30 minutes and try to restart it again!” 🤬 I was forced to get the last flight out that day back to Denver and these repairs are still TBD on the ETA of completion. I called my sales rep, Angel Torres, who repeatedly told us that “our relationship doesn’t end with a sale, call me anytime if you need help or assistance” to explain the situation of the broken vehicle and he didn’t even pick up; just texted me that he was too busy with dinner and he’d get back to me the following day. The next day he sends me a photo of the pamphlet for the auto coverage I purchased ‘Assurant Vehicle Care’ and to call the 1-800 number as I bought the Platinum Coverage. We tried to call and text him again, no luck, after which point he just completely ignored us on the issue as a whole. We also tried going directly through other members of the dealership, meanwhile they too offered very little help as they directed us to the same 1-800 number to get a rental car reimbursement, meanwhile it only covers $50/day for 10 days!! 🤯 This is their best package- the PLATINUM package - ($2,700 due at signing) The BEST COVERAGE POLICY OFFERED and it doesn’t even cover the cost of a comparable rental! (Nor cover the cost of tow: Only offers $100 towards towing cost, customer must pay out of pocket for remaining costs) We have bought other cars in the area that when serviced we needed a rental - MacDonald Volvo, CarMax and Stevinson Lexus- all far more helpful with a loaner vehicle and with comparable options. This is an Auto Nation issue as this is their specific coverage - do not buy from AutoNation - you simply become a number as soon as the sale is done. Be EXTREMELY PARTICULAR when purchasing your vehicle not everyone has quality services and coverages alike. PLEASE - do your due diligence before purchasing a vehicle from an AutoNation Dealer!!! More

Man was it a coin-flip on if I'd recommend this dealership. I saw a vehicle online. I drove it. I liked it. I proceeded with the purchase. There was a trade-in involved. The whole process took five (five!) hours between getting paperwork readied and the trade valued and the inspection completed and the maintenance refreshed. The vast majority of the time, my salesman Bailey was nowhere to be seen and I had little clue of what was going on or where things were in the process. I was never offered any options for the day like a loaner vehicle or even something for lunch..I would've paid for my own but had no way to get anywhere. The vending machines were inadequate. I asked four different individuals that were working there that day if they had any clue about where my vehicle or salesman were throughout the morning and afternoon. I got exasperated to the point of flagging down individual #4 for a loaner so I could go about my day (work). Seems like that should've been presented as an option much earlier in the visit. The whole experience felt inconsiderate and rude for what really should've been straightforward transaction. I ended up being three hours late for my shift that afternoon. Understanding as my manager was, it was still a significant inconvenience that could've and should've been avoided. More

Gen manager sold the vehicle to another customer even though we has a signed contract. Explanation was that the customer was looking at the truck before the contract was signed in person and they were ta though we has a signed contract. Not a good business practice and very poor customer service. Also made the sales person tell us we did not get the truck and the manager didn't have the guts to face us. Better have check/cash in hand ready to go! More
