They are very helpful even when the parts are not available. I do not think the dealership should be blamed during this time of inability to obtain parts it is the new way of life. I am completely dissatisfied with Dodge and the product they put out. I have purchased two new Ram trucks from Autowest Dodge. My current truck is a 2011 Ram 2500 diesel. In the ten years I have owned t they put out. I have purchased two new Ram trucks from Autowest Dodge. My current truck is a 2011 Ram 2500 diesel. In the ten years I have owned this truck, it has had all maintenance performed by Autowest Dodge. I have had multiple oxygen sensors replaced and am now dealing with replacement of the main computer for the SECOND time. It is more than ridiculous to have to replace a major component like the main computer twice in the span of only ten years. The computer was replaced the first time only three years ago. I now find out that Dodge has such little confidence in their product that they only warranty the computer for two years. Of course mine needs replacement at the three year mark, out of warranty. My truck has less than 80,000 miles on it and was purchased with the expectation that I would get many more trouble free miles due to the Cummins Diesel engine. What I did not consider is the Dodge components of the vehicle that may not live up to the longevity of the engine. My service advisor, John Avitia, did advocate for me and try to get some relief on the replacement of the computer but was unsuccessful. I had to make numerous calls to find the outcome of any help that may be provided, I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised to find there would be no help in replacing the computer. Dodge customer care was absolutely no help as well, with the response we can’t help you. As I said, the only maintenance work performed on my truck has been at Roseville Autowest Dodge. My truck has been maintained with all scheduled maintenance yet still I am replacing major components that should not fail at the low times and mileage that I currently have. I have had difficulty scheduling maintenance at times due to the high volume of vehicles coming into the dealership. My largest complaint, other than the poor quality components Dodge puts out, is the lack of information provided to me regarding vehicle servicing. I typically have to make numerous calls to find out the status of my vehicle or what may need to be done with future servicing. I am still waiting for a call with an estimate on replacement of the computer. Right now I have lost all confidence in Dodge. I love the truck I currently own but don’t know that I would purchase another Ram product knowing now how Dodge stands behind their product. More
