I visited the AutoNation service center for an ignition issue. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. Despite my insistence that the problem wasn't related to the battery, they kept insistin issue. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. Despite my insistence that the problem wasn't related to the battery, they kept insisting that it was and never provided any concrete test results to support their claims. They even refused to proceed unless I changed the batteries. Even after following their advice and changing the batteries, the problem persisted. What was even more frustrating was the lack of responsiveness from the service manager and the head manager, who did not return my calls. I regret to say that based on my experience, I strongly advise against taking your Jeep to this dealership. I am at another dealership and I'm currently awaiting a diagnostic assessment. Where they stated Iv should have been given a print out for battery testing to prove I need battery replacement. Also they stated had nothing to do with batteries. Got an SUV with the regular 90 days warranty days on it. 7 days later check engine light comes on. I bring it back they say, warranty does not cover whatever is causing the light. I pick another out of state and now they want to fix it. I have spent the last three weeks coming forth and back, and calling to get this resolved. Now, they have agreed to fix the issue at no cost to me. First time buying from AutoNation, it has left a sour taste in my mouth. No one should have to go through what I've gone through in the last few weeks. It feels like I bought a car on Facebook marketplace. I just want to be done with this ordeal. More
Absolutely awful experience from the time I walked in to the time I left. I literally had to fight them at every turn. I came in to buy a new Charger because of the Dodge rebate and the advertised price the the time I left. I literally had to fight them at every turn. They showed me the car but then said they had the exact car without the dealer options added they would sell me cheaper. The one I was looking at had tinted windows, wheel locks, door guards, and EVTS added by the dealer. They pulled the exact car around with no options added made me drive it because it would be less expensive. After an hour or so we sat down to work numbers. They tried to sell me the car with less features for the same price as the one with dealer options! Told me they had to rotate inventory. Why would I buy the one with less options for the same price. After arguing with them we worked a deal on the car I actually wanted with the extras. Then came to the trade in. They literally told me my car was going to sell for $10,000 more than they offered me for it! After again what seemed like forever I finally got them to increase their offer but it was still ridiculous and insulting. I ended up leaving that day. I called and tried to speak with David Baker the GM and he was arrogant and rude. Had absolutely no customer service and made me feel like I was wasting his time! Due to the fact that the Dodge rebates were supposed to end on 7/31 I felt I had no choice and went back to make the deal. Because of the low amount they offered for my trade I told them to take off my cold air intake and put it on the new car. Literally a 10 min switch for a qualified mechanic. Again a fight and argument to the point I asked for a screwdriver to just do it myself! The mechanic finally came out and he was the only one there with any customer service and switched it immediately for me. Next came the financing. I have top tier credit and have never paid over 2% my entire life. The finance manager, who was also rude and arrogant came out and offered me 7.99!!!!! Again an insult and a lie. Y’all be aware of their scam. I made the finance manager go to his office and come out with the offers from the banks. They were all in the 5% range. I asked why the markup and they told me they always mark up 2% for their profits! Don’t let them burn you ask to see the actual offers from the bank! After everything and arguing for hours Charles my salesman finally got my car and set up a couple things on it. They gave me 0 information on the EVTS system that was installed I had to research that myself when I got home to figure out what it was. They didn’t even set up the account for my car like they were supposed to. Charles and David Baker have no customer service skills what so ever. I would avoid this dealership at all cost! I’ve buy a car every two years and have bought probably 25 vehicles in my life. I have never had an experience where I have been treated so poorly by literally everyone. The only one that was actually nice to me was a guy in training that had worked there a week and was watching training videos! The mechanic was also nice. When I went to transfer my personal items out of my car the salesman Charles had it in the shop and had already gone through my old car and boxed some of my stuff up. I never gave him permission to go through any of the items in my car without me there. He never even told me he was going to box my stuff up! I had a firearm in the car as well as some expensive items! First and last time I will ever go to this dealership. South West CDJR in Cleburne is at least focused on the customer and makes you feel important. This dealership treats you like you are a problem and wasting their time! I won’t buy another vehicle from them nor take any of my vehicles there unless I absolutely have to! I ended up just financing the car but paying it off the next day. If I would have known the finance manager would try and burn me like he did I would have just brought a check so I didn’t have hard inquires. More
