My Jeep went into the dealership needing an oil change and tire rotation, during the course of which the hazard light button was broken leaving the hazard lights permanently on. On pointing this out I was told that the Jeep would need to be booked in for 'further diagnosis' for five days without a courtesy vehicle which I am in no position to do. I am in the process of replacing the AC Heater/Ignition panel myself as Autonation clearly couldn't be relied upon to do so - and obviously I'll be covering the cost myself for the same reason. Obviously I'd rather drive to San Antonio for the next oil change rather than return to this shambolic operation. More
My brand new car had broken down and I called in to AutoNation to see if you all could fix it. I was told it was told that if it was my fault then I would have to pay. I expressed to the individual on AutoNation to see if you all could fix it. I was told it was told that if it was my fault then I would have to pay. I expressed to the individual on the phone that I had just purchased this 2023 Dodge Challenger so there was no way I could be at fault for it not going pass 10 miles per hour. So I had my car towed to the dealership and I asked for a loaner because I only have one car. I was told there were no loaner cars available and that it was probably going to be a week and a half to fix it and it would take 24 to 48 hours for a diagnosis. Since I needed a car I rented a car due to being told there was a waiting list and it was long for loaner cars. So I was not offered any type of reimbursement for my loaner car and I had to keep calling AutoNation to figure out what was wrong with my car and when I would be able to get it back. Eventually the problem was a defective throttle which was no fault of my own like I stated when I called the first time. There was only one time I called where the person didn’t pass me off and actually looked into the notes and read my notes and also explained to me what was going on with that defective part. I did receive my car back but I also had to find a ride to the dealership because the shuttle was not available that day and no one could deliver my car or pick me up to get my car and my house is at the most a 10 minute drive from the dealership. The service department put the the wrong oil in my diesel truck. The General Manager does not respond to emails or phone calls. Horrible service no accountability .
