Do not buy used vehicles or extended warranties from this place. Their inspection process is a joke. 26 miles after our purchase, the rear main seal and valve cover gasket was leaking oil. And, the engine light came on apparently not related to those problems. I was told the fuel tank needed to be replaced. Even though they sold us the warranty and all parts are listed as covered, we were denied coverage as they said it was a preexisting condition. Either I am the unluckiest person in the world or the vehicle should not have passed their supposedly rigorous inspection. They inspected it. They sold the warranty. Yet, no help at all on getting the warranty company to honor their contract. Here is a direct quote from their website regarding inspection of used vehicles: No Worries, We've Inspected It Thanks to a rigorous inspection process and a vehicle history report, rest assured that this vehicle is Worry-Free and ready for the open road ahead. So we know you'll love your AutoNation vehicle. What a joke!! I have bought 9 new vehicles from AutoNation dealerships and will not give them another cent. I bought a car from AutoNation on June 20, 2024, and the experience was very disappointing. I live in Washington and had to fly to Houston to pick up the car. Before flying, I told Diego Delgado over the ph experience was very disappointing. I live in Washington and had to fly to Houston to pick up the car. Before flying, I told Diego Delgado over the phone that I wanted to use my own financing because the rate was better. He said I had to do that in person and assured me they would hold the car for me. When I got there, I started working on the financing with Sunny Alidina. He said I couldn't use my financing because of some cyber attack and insisted I use AutoNation’s financing. I told him my financing was with Navy Federal Credit Union and asked him to call them, but he refused and claimed it was company policy not to accept outside financing. When I asked to speak to his manager, I was told the manager was in a meeting. Sunny made it clear that if I didn't use their financing, the deal was off. Since I had flown all the way from Seattle, I felt forced to agree. During the contract signing, Sunny conveniently left out the $3,000 rebate that was originally included in the pricing. I caught the mistake and had it fixed, but it seemed intentional. Finally, on July 3rd, I got access to my financing account and immediately refinanced with Navy Federal Credit Union. I got approved for a rate that was 4.15% less than what AutoNation offered. NFCU made the process easy and straightforward. If you’re eligible to bank with them, I highly recommend it. While I like the car, the way this deal was handled was shady and dishonest. Calls to other AutoNation dealers confirmed that accepting outside financing is not against company policy. AutoNation needs to address these shady practices. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this dealership. More

Once again I called AutoNation Katy and ask about a few items I am waiting on. While talking to service they set appointments for oil change (Full Service) Diego greeted me even 20 minutes early. Your’s and My Service advisor once again let a happy customer on his way. Diego explained every thing they completed on my Jeep Gladitor. He always shows up with a smile and really cares about his position as a Service Advisor. If I was Still a GM and not retired I would try and steal him. Diego is a true asset to AutoNaton Katy. The sales associate, Eric, was a pleasure to work with, making the buying transaction easy and smooth. The gentleman who assisted us in the paperwork for the purchase and payment was also a pleasure to wor making the buying transaction easy and smooth. However, we were very disappointed with the Dealership itself. We purchased the car on a Saturday night and were supposed to receive it on Monday. The car was in their loaner fleet and needed to be retrieved by the dealership from the person who was using it at the time. They retrieved the car on Monday as expected, and we were told it would be detailed, cleaned, and delivered on Monday evening. We received a call late Monday and were told the car could not be delivered Monday as expected due to the time it took to detail the vehicle, and the vehicle was not released from the detailing until late. The vehicle was delivered Tuesday around noon, and when we looked over the car that Eric had driven to us, the car was not detailed at all. There was a pair of dirty used socks in the trunk, along with other debris and small trash; there was food stuck to the back seat in multiple spots from what appeared to be from a kid in a car seat; the back seats, floorboards and some of the front seats were covered in glitter, the engine compartment appeared to have not even been looked at, and very very dirty, the fluids, like windshield wiper fluid, was half full. They were told they could not clean the engine compartment due to wiring, but every rental car somehow seemed clean, as expected when renting a car. We purchased a new car and got a new car that looked like a dirty, used car. We have given the dealership over a week to see if they could provide details on the car after the fact, but there has been no offer to make this right. I have rented many cars through a car rental company, and I have never had a rental car look as bad as this brand-new one. We would not be disappointed if we were told the car would be delivered in that condition. But we were told it was detailed, and we anticipated it, and it could not be delivered on Monday because it was being detailed, which didn’t happen. I'm disappointed in the dealership, as there was no serious attempt to correct the issue. We would recommend Eric but have serious reservations about recommending the dealership. Sometimes, the little thing counts, which I feel the dealership lacks understanding or caring for. Once the sale was made, the need to worry about the client stopped. Multiple attempts have asked for this review, and I told them I was holding on to this review until there was a resolution to our concerns; there has been no resolution after about a week, no communication from any management or leadership, and this is my review.
