We recently did business with City Auto Plaza. The car was a pretty good deal and the staff was okay as well. The gouge is with the "SWAT" anti theft that they force you to purchase for $1k. They explain was a pretty good deal and the staff was okay as well. The gouge is with the "SWAT" anti theft that they force you to purchase for $1k. They explain that it is already installed and cannot be removed. This is nothing more than a gps tracker that is mostly for protecting their inventory and then they tack it onto the price of the car with a HUGE markup and refuse to remove it. Nothing more than a money grab. Look up SWAT gps and 'pre-load program' and you'll see what I mean. It's too late for us but not for you. Want to save a quick $1k on the price of your next car? Go somewhere else to buy it. Try any other dealership in the springs (A short drive to save $1k). Also notice the canned responses to some of the positive reviews and none to the negative reviews? Another indicator for you to consider. Good luck with your future purchase! More
