Brought my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee in because my rear windshield was damaged and when it was replaced by another business. After the windshield was replaced it was discovered that my rear hatch wouldn't windshield was damaged and when it was replaced by another business. After the windshield was replaced it was discovered that my rear hatch wouldn't shut/latch completely, leaving the rear sensor to consistently go off with a warning. I also thought while I had my Jeep there I would also get an oil change as well. Duante was my service advisor and what I immediately liked about him was that he level set my expectations right away. Explaining to me what the process would be, how much time it would potentially take and explaining to me that the service would NOT be finished that day. (Which btw when I called to originally set up this appointment the woman on the phone assisting me did NOT make it very clear whether or not my car would be finished same day or even within a few hours. I live in West Seattle, so to commute to and from Bellevue with the WS bridge being down isn't a quick trip.) Daunte also explained that if the timeline were to slip, he would make sure to communicate the information to me immediately. Sure enough, the timeline did slip as it was discovered that my rear latch needed replacement, Daunte had the part ordered that same day in hopes it would come in the following. He kept me in the loop step by step so there was no guessing on my end. I would highly recommend asking for Daunte for all of your service needs. He is very professional, friendly, to the point, and will ensure you understand what is or isn't needed for your vehicle. I appreciated his patience with me and my questions and that he kept me feeling comfortable while my Jeep was in service. The one thing I will say about the Service department as a whole is that I wish they communicated better when it comes to what services your vehicle needs at the time it is needed. It was pointed out to me that there were things needed that weren't done at the appropriate time (at 20K). So I ended up spending more than I originally expected to be paying. Also, when calling to book your service, that the person handling the call can answer questions efficiently and if they don't know the answer find someone who does. Thankfully because I didn't TRUST the person booking my appointment (and they weren't trying to find the answers to my questions to help me make an informed decision) I already went to my appointment assuming my car would be staying over night if not for a couple of days. So when Duante informed me that I would need to keep my car with them, I wasn't surprised. More
