We purchased our vehicle and have brought it back to AutoNation for routine oil changes. So when we had some work to be done, we just thought we’d bring it back to AutoNation and give them our business, AutoNation for routine oil changes. So when we had some work to be done, we just thought we’d bring it back to AutoNation and give them our business, as usual. We had an appointment scheduled, brought the car up and left it, so it’d be there for our scheduled time. BUT with 5 days having gone by without an update, I decided to call for an update. The car was supposed to take 2-4 business days, but we had heard nothing. So I called. I was put on hold, over and over again, spending over 2 hours a few times, on hold. I was told that I couldn’t be helped except by “my assigned agent,” but he never returned a single voice message or text message. I was constantly told someone would look into the status, only to be told that “we are busy, so & so is out today, so & so is on break, so & so is on a test drive, it could be 4-6 days - which it had already been more than that at that point, there’s 40 cars in line, so on and so forth. All the excuses. But never once did anyone care or acknowledge that we had a scheduled appointment. If someone had a medical appointment scheduled and was then just left to sit there for 2 weeks, with a million excuses as to why the doc couldn’t see you, you’d go somewhere else. So, that’s what we ended up doing. We had to show up and retrieve our vehicle that had been sitting in a lot for 2 weeks, without having been touched. The techs were perturbed and put off that we were there asking for our vehicle back to take out business elsewhere. And on top of that, they didn’t ask for an ID or anything to make sure we were actually taking OUR vehicle. We could have easily asked for any of the vehicles in that lot and left with someone else’s car. On top of that, if we were wanting to trade that vehicle in for another one, they would have looked at it quickly, to make a sale. Sooooo, all that to be said, our experience was not great! We ended up bringing our vehicle to another mechanic who was highly recommended, and the car was diagnosed AND repaired the next day! The service was night and day! Not sure we’ll be back to AutoNation…:/ More
I made the appointment online which was easy to do. They took my vehicle back right away and finished quicker than expected. Had my oil changed. They also rotated my tires for free. We set up an appointment to have our vehicle issue diagnosed. The vehicle sat at the dealership for 10 days without anyone looking at it. Terrible communication from the staff. We were on hold for hou diagnosed. The vehicle sat at the dealership for 10 days without anyone looking at it. Terrible communication from the staff. We were on hold for hours at a time just to get the run around about why our vehicle hadn't been looked at yet. Ended up picking up the vehicle to and dropped of at another mechanic shop where we had a diagnosis and a complete fix within 48 hours. We will never give business to AutoNation Chevrolet North again! Please don't allow customers to set appointments and set your team up for failure. More
Had a 0700. Was in service line before 0700. Told it would be ready between 1100 and 1130. I was dropped off at home. At 12pm I called and found out the car wou Was in service line before 0700. Told it would be ready between 1100 and 1130. I was dropped off at home. At 12pm I called and found out the car wouldn't be ready until 230. This blew my plans for the rest of the afternoon. From now on I will wait for the service at the dealership. They confirmed working on other vehicles that had appts. later than mine as their owners were waiting. More
I am not happy because they checked my brakes and change the oil on March 28th, and said they were ok. I asked to check my truck breakers because they were making a wired noise. Apparently, they said the my the oil on March 28th, and said they were ok. I asked to check my truck breakers because they were making a wired noise. Apparently, they said the my truck break pads were still half life good. O the other side, my truck started to make a laugher noise when I use the breakers. I took my truck to another break shop and they showed me that the brake pads were really bad condition. The noise I hear every time was because the break drums were really worn out. I just can not believe they did that to me. I really trust them with the service but I will not take my truck there anymore. It is really disappointed believe what they did. They just never did check my truck breaks at all. More
Had to give one star (worthy of 0) just to complete the survey!!! While in town visiting our daughter we took her car in for a repair. After 5 days sitting there, the car was still not looked at, so we survey!!! While in town visiting our daughter we took her car in for a repair. After 5 days sitting there, the car was still not looked at, so we picked it up and brought it to John Elway. Although they told us it’d be a few days, it was only 4 hours before we were picking up in running order. Plus…the $205 fee was applied to the repair! The service department at Auto Nation is awful! $199 fee is not applied to repair, no one answers the phone and if your service representative is on a day off, your stuck until they return. Have to say this was the worst service I’ve ever encountered at a Chevy Dealer. More
