Horrible, lack of communication, Amador lacks customer service at any aspect. Never responded to any of our phone calls. We had to always call back and left on hold for 10- 15 min and then get disconnect service at any aspect. Never responded to any of our phone calls. The vehicle sat for 2 weeks and the service department they did not even know it was there on the lot. They wanted me to diagnosis the problem with the vehicle (mind you had to speak to 2 people to make this happen) had beg them. One the "service people can you tell me what's wrong, we stated was an engine problem, he said do you know exactly", even before a mechanic looked at it. We are not mechanics and is that not what they do there? We told send to the mechanic and have see what engine problems there are we had to argue with him to even have the mechanic look the vehicle. He than agreed and the mechanic found service lights on the dash and asked us what we would like to do. We said go ahead and trouble shoot the problem and let us know the cost of repairs as we need the service vehicle back asap. The finally figured out the engine need to be replaced. Now 2 1/2 months later after numerous phone calls they said the engine was on back order. I spoke to Amador on 1/17/22 he was still checking the status and he would call us back (that never happens). After calling Amador back he did not have a date for the engine at that time we decided, to have another company take care of the engine replacement. We asked what the cost was for troubleshooting. and Amador said it was $199. We then sent a tow truck to pick up the vehicle and the would not release it. I called Amador back to find out why they would not release the vehicle, he said the engine is now on it way to the dealership and when you cancel you would have to pay a 35% restocking fee (mind you earlier he said there was no date for delivery). Amador said we had to pay that 35% restocking fee for the engine, since now it is on it's way. We stated we would not be paying the 35% restocking fee for the engine and let us speak to a manager, next thing we knew we transferred to a someone else and we left a message. Once again we had to call Amador back to find out what was going on with vehicle. Amador said he transferred us to a parts manager. We explained once again we would not be paying for the restocking of the engine, then Amador said " we found another vehicle that can use that engine" and you do not have to pay the 35% restocking fee. Work experience, NOT ONE SOUL bothered to call me back. More

It was an incredibly easy experience and I was impressed by how quickly I was in and out of there. Without an appointment we showed up on a Saturday. They took our Equinox right in. Called us about an hour later saying it was done. We were so surprised and pleased. Worst car buying experience I ever endured. This would be easier to say if anyone was rude but everyone that helped, or tried to help, was polite and friendly. I set an appointment to look at a car on the weekend when I don’t work. I was driving in from Kansas in two separate cars. My husband was getting the car then staying for a night with friends in Denver while I drove home. My husband calls the dealership and mentions the appointment and they tell him the car is in the shop. I’m disappointed that we had to call them but things happen. This should have been the first glimps into their poor communication skills. We decide to go on Monday. It is 360 miles one way and I have to be back to work on Tuesday. We spoke to the dealership a few times on the drive out there. Both my husband and I spoke to different people at the dealership during the six hour drive and we were assured the car would be there waiting for us. I arrived first at approximately 2:30 or 3:00 pm on Monday and was promptly greeted by both gentlemen and offered a seat to wait. My husband was 20 minutes behind my arrival time. After waiting for around ten minutes they both came to tell me that the service center the car was sent to is closed on Monday and they could not get the car. To be clear, they could have called us at any point before we drove for 6 hours and mentioned this extremely important fact. My husband arrives and we are now scrambling trying to think about our next step. I am unable to stay because I must get to work the next day. If the vehicle had been for myself I would have walked away. Since the car was a dream car for my husband and he really wants it I drive home that night, work most of the next day then drive another 6 hours back. In those 2 days I made the 12 hour round trip for this car two times. My husband stays the night with his friend then is dropped off and spends the next 12 hours waiting at the dealership for me to finish working and make the drive back. The car wasn’t even done with the detailing until late afternoon though he was promised it would be ready by 9 am that morning. We don’t normally purchase extra insurance from the dealership but due to the expensive repairs and age of the car we spend the extra money. The day after we got home there was an issue with the car and to no ones surprise support from the dealer or insurance company we purchased was of very little help. We had to use our regular car insurance company for help. Now my husband has had the car for less than 24 hours and it has been towed to Wichita where it has spent more time than in our physical possession. Jacob was very nice though it seems somewhat inexperienced. Sami was also friendly though he quickly disappeared leaving us in the hands of Jacob. I’m not sure that we were actually lied to regarding the location and availability of the car. I believe no one really knew what was going on. At the end of it all it really doesn’t matter which it was because it doesn’t change the events and how they unfolded. More
Worst service department EVER!! Let our car sit for weeks waiting for part to come. Once part came, Ben Herrera said “it shows it was delivered but we can’t find it” I asked him if he was going to call to lo waiting for part to come. Not sure what is his job other then making me do the leg work to find this part. Worst customer service and lack of any type of empathy. Clearly didn’t care if we had our car or not.
