I have been happy with taking my truck to get the service done on it. The only inconvenience the last time was I wasn't on the schedule due to an error with booking the appointment in the Chevy app and I had done on it. I do not recommend purchasing a vehicle from Auto Nation Chevy- especially this location. I purchased my 2017 Chevy Sonic (brand new) a few years ago WITH AN EXTENDED WARRANTY and have had nothing but issue Chevy- especially this location. I purchased my 2017 Chevy Sonic (brand new) a few years ago WITH AN EXTENDED WARRANTY and have had nothing but issues. The first week my tire went flat and they apologized and switched it out because it had a split they had not caught in an inspection. The next couple of months my check engine light when on because of air conditioning issues. It was covered under my warranty. The next couple of years I had several other issues like wiring, a faulty gas cap issue etc. The cherry on top was when I brought my car in a couple of months ago and the service tech, Thomas Mucilli, told me rodents had chewed my wires and it would be over $300 to fix and wasn’t under warranty. Thomas also told me that my axle was splitting on the driver’s side and that it was covered under warranty if I left my car for a few days. I declined the wire repair and let Thomas know I had to plan ahead for my axle because I was going to be without my car. I then took my car to another place to get my wires repaired for WAY less. I planned being off of work and the timing of my car being in the shop the next month for the axle repair. I made an appointment for March 1st and dropped off my car early in the morning. I took the complimentary shuttle home and had a great experience with the employee driving. I wish I would have caught his name. He kept great conversation, drove safely and made sure I got in my house safely. I received a call March 2nd from Thomas telling me that the repair wasn’t going to be covered under my extended warranty because of a technicality and the repair would be upwards of $500! I called him back and told him I would once again decline their services because I was told it was under warranty. I picked up my car later in the evening and Thomas was the only one working. When I walked up Thomas saw me but was speaking to a man who had a lot of truck issues and Thomas clearly did not want to be of service for him. The man left without making any plan of coming back. With all the issues he was having you would think that would be an important service sale for the dealership… while he was talking to this customer 2 other separate customers walked up. Both male. He helped one of them with some questions and then tried to help the other man before me. Realizing what was happening, the other male customer asked Thomas to help me next. Thomas knew who I was and let me know to go see the cashier to sign paperwork and get my keys. When I expressed my frustration with how my experience had gone with him and the dealership, he did not apologize. Instead he blamed the employees who scheduled appointments who had nothing to do with everything he had done. I walked to the cashier and signed my paperwork. She was very kind. I read my paperwork and it said that I had called in saying my car was leaking and that is why I had brought my car in. YOU GUESSED IT- THE TECHNICALITY OF MY WARRANTY WAS THE LEAKING. Because he said that I said that, my axle wasn’t covered. I was stunned. I had only made this appointment because I had been told on my last appointment that I needed to get my axle fixed. Thomas had lied on my paperwork and possibly to the people who worked with the extended warranties. My check engine light was not on when I dropped off my car or picked it up but I’m sure it will be soon. Every time I drop off my car at this location, my check engine light comes on quickly after. Very untrustworthy location. I felt very taken advantage of because I am a woman and felt that because I had not chosen to get my wires fixed through Thomas that he was less than happy to help me. Terrible customer service and a terrible experience. I will not be purchasing another vehicle from Autonation Chevy and will encourage all of my friends/family shopping for a new vehicle to avoid them as well. Hopefully everyone reading this review will double think their future purchase- especially women. More
