This review is related for two separate service visits. The premise of Customer Service is based on TRUST, COURTESY and COMMUNICATION. Aside from reasonable pricing. Having worked in Customer Care/Serv The premise of Customer Service is based on TRUST, COURTESY and COMMUNICATION. Aside from reasonable pricing. Having worked in Customer Care/Service, AutoNation Chevrolet Mesa, whose face to the customer is Mr Adams, fail completely. The first service, on March 14, 2023 was due to a cooling issue with the Cruze, which is renown for. A water pump leak extended to a cylinder head and thermostat replacement. Robert Adams, the service advisor on Bay 3, when asked how long for this work to be done, mentioned it would take 3 days. So a 3 day car rental turned into a 7 day car rental. Upon talking with the technician responsible for the work, his reason for this extended timeframe was that he had " a lot of work piled up". The repair was done to my complete satisfaction. Mr. Adams mentioned that one of the rear shock absorbers was leaking and that the tires needed replacement., which I was aware of. The second visit on May 1st, 2023, with Mr. Adams on Bay 3, was for a tire alignment as the Cruze had 4 new tires ( and the car was veering to the left when letting go of the steering wheel ) and for the technician to check the two rear shock absorbers. I had asked for a 3:30 pm appointment and that I would wait for the work to be done, as I would be off work at that time, Mr. Adams said that in order for the work to be done on the same day and while I waited, I would need to bring the car in at 9:30. which I did, my supervisor at work allowing me to do miss that day. At 10:00 Mr. Adams mentioned that the tech did the inspection and that the rear shocks were leaking., that they had the shocks in stock and that the work would be done while I waited. When asked about the timeframe for the wheel alignment and replacement of the two rear shock absorbers Mr. Adams said "between an hour or two". This was at 10:00 am. 5 HOURS LATER, at 3:15 , the car was "ready". FIVE HOURS LATER. Throughout that timeframe, no communication or apologies at all from Mr. Adams about the delay , Mr. Adams excusing the delay because the tech "could not unbolt free one of the shocks.". A completely sorry excuse. After a wheel alignment, one will expect the tech to do a test drive. Apparently this wasn't the case as, after driving off, reasonably upset after 5 hour wait for a promised 2 hour job, the car veered to the left when letting go of the steering,, so obviously the car wasn't test driven to check whether the alignment was done correctly. The shock absorbers were replaced, however the wheel alignment was either not done or done incorrectly. I will follow up ion this review after I take the car back for the correction and taljk to the head of the service department. If AutoiNation Chevrolet Mesa reads this review, I fully expect a CALL BACK from the head of the service department. More to follow. This was reviewed on My 3rd, 2023. More

After giving my specific contact information, it took them 3 days to contact me. This is after I left 6 messages, several to Barry Miller, 1 to Brooklyn and 2 to Robert Adam’s (who was given my contact i them 3 days to contact me. This is after I left 6 messages, several to Barry Miller, 1 to Brooklyn and 2 to Robert Adam’s (who was given my contact info). I had to find a way to get to work, even though I was told someone would contact me about my car and if it took longer than 24hrs, a car would be provided to me. When I was finally contacted on Monday (drop off was Thursday at 1130a) I was transferred to a voicemail. Called back to speak to Brooklyn and was given the info that my car would be ready. Robert contacted my wife, not me, and was told that the repair order was left in Mikes name when it was written instead of in his name and therefore did not see to update me. What happened? I spoke to Robert, not someone named Mike. I gave Robert my info, not someone named Mike. Robert dropped the ball, he failed to keep a customers documents in order and therefore caused me an inconvenience. I entrusted AutoNation Chevrolet with my vehicle and to contact me regarding issues with my vehicle. They did not. Brooklyn was the only one to return my calls. If Barry Miller isn’t going to return phone calls, then why was I left to leave voicemails for him when I called to inquire about my service updates? If I was able to go to a mechanic and have my warranty valid with them, I would have. Or if there was another AutoNation dealership, I would’ve gladly taken it there. Next time I need my vehicle taken care, I will be better prepared next time and make sure the service advisor that is taking my vehicle has the correct info and then have it repeated to me. And hope he won’t lose it or give it to someone else when they are 24hrs behind on servicing their customers. I had my tires rotated too. I had to take my car into Discount Tire to have the tires “re-learned” so the computer/dashboard would know the location of the tires. I was under the impression this would’ve been done by the service dept when they rotated my tires. All in all, this was not an enjoyable experience. Me and my family have bought 3 cars from this dealership. We take them to get oil changes and get servuced. Trusted the process. This time, the trust has been damaged. More
