He says I'm going submit your app and I'll call you in a couple of days to let you know which of the few trucks I picked out ok no problem well I never got that call but my credit report showed that the ran my credit so next I go else where and the first thing they say I see your credit was pulled by autonation I was like shocked because I never got a call back from them at all so I would strongly advise anyone to not go there at all poor customer service. terrible service and rude unprofessional staff. waited for 7.5 hrs for a 4 wheel alignment on my vehicle, no explanation other than my mechanic had to help other mechanics. met the parts manager son waited for 7.5 hrs for a 4 wheel alignment on my vehicle, no explanation other than my mechanic had to help other mechanics. met the parts manager son after this, was one of the rudest young people you would ever want to meet. the cashier couldn't figure out how to process my check so i was told by this young man mentioned earlier that my check wasn't any good. never been so angry in a long time, don't let the fancy looking building fool you. paid my bill got my car home and the alignment still isn't right. oh i won't go back to let them try again. I have 2013 Malibu, so after taking it back to the dealer they dismissed my issue by saying everything looks good. To this day my new car sounds horrible, Know I am force to take to another to figure out what they did to my car. More
Lazy or deceitful? Stay away. We found the car we were looking for on line, called to confirm before we took leave and drove over an hour to get there. Salesman confirmed that the We found the car we were looking for on line, called to confirm before we took leave and drove over an hour to get there. Salesman confirmed that the vehicle was there. Asked to please double check, gave him the vin number -explained trouble we were going through to get there, again PROMISED they for sure had the car. We arrived same salesman says, Oops, it's not here. He even straight faced lied and said "the car is gone, somebody came and bought it out from under me." Maybe this was just a lazy, piece of crap salesman, but I think it was a "bait and switch attempt." Don't trust these people. They will lie and inconvenience you just to get you in the door. More
Terrible, terrible, terrible Generally, when I go to a chevy dealer, they are able to diag and fix issues with my vehicle. This company not only incorrectly diag-ed my car but their over-all customer service was horrible. The representative in the service department was rude and nonchalant, while I expressed my concern. It's almost like, he had issue with me not knowing what was wrong with my car and why couldn't I fix it. There are only a few chevy dealers in the area, the other is not open on the weekends. I drive an additional 15 miles to Silver Spring. More
Deplorable service experience I dropped my 2008 GMC Acadia off with this dealer on Jun 20, 2014. The Check Engine light and the Service StabiliTrak system lights were illuminated I dropped my 2008 GMC Acadia off with this dealer on Jun 20, 2014. The Check Engine light and the Service StabiliTrak system lights were illuminated on my panel. I had brought my car in for the same issue on Apr 7. AutoNation had my car for 31 days. Yes, 31 days. Once they had it for 20 days, they said it should be ready on Monday, 5 days from then. They were replacing the cylinder heads. Then Monday, the day it was supposed to be ready, they found that they needed to replace the Power Steering Cooler line. So it would be ready the next day. The next day, they realized they needed to replace the fuel injectors. That took another week. I don't doubt this work was needed, but I seriously doubt that these repairs that were all done within 2 weeks necessitated my car being in their shop for 31 days. While my car was in the shop, I had a rental car. Finally, after 4 weeks of rental car fees, the dealer offered me a loaner car. However, the only loaner car they had was a Sierra pick-up truck, which is humongous. I informed Jordana, who is in charge of the loaner car program, that I was uncomfortable driving that big of a car. She laughed and said not to worry. If she could do it, I could, as well. So I drove off terribly uncomfortable with the monstrosity vehicle, that also happened to be a gas guzzler. They did pay for a whopping 5 days of my 27 day rental car bill to Enterprise. When I finally got my car back, the mechanics had left the battery exposed in the back seat. My 6 year old daughter tripped, getting her foot caught in the hole where the battery sits, and cut her lip. The car wasn't clean, after the service manager had left me a message that my car was ready and just in the car wash getting cleaned up for me. I had a full tank of gas when I dropped it off. When I got it back it had less than 1/4 of a tank. The service manager, Phil, was indignant and offered me $20 and said "I'm NOT filling your tank up." I did get him up to $30. However, clearly that was nowhere near where I left it. Phil then explained they had to drive my car quite a bit to determine the problem. However, the invoice shows they drove 32 miles. That's less than 2 gallons. Furthermore, I get almost 300 miles per tank. When I explained that, his story suddenly changed to the notion that my gasoline had a high alcohol level as if I'd been using E-85, implying they had to dump it. I don't even know where to buy E-85. I exclusively use Shell 87 and once a month, the 93. When I said that, Phil then informed me that I probably got a "bad" batch of gas from Shell. I don't really believe that, but I can't say for sure. I can objectively say that I have received "bad" service from this dealer, though. Additionally, although they removed my wheels to service the car, they neglected to balance them when putting them back on. So now when I drive more than 60 mph, my car shakes. They offered to fix it next week, on the house. As if they are doing me a favor by rectifying something they neglected to do in the first place. To make matters worse, after the horrendous treatment and lack of service, Jordana requested that I vacuum their loaner. Otherwise she was going to charge me for their time....vacuuming their car. No further comment on that. And.......after 31 days in the shop.....my Check Engine and Service StabiliTrak lights came back on within 24 hours of picking it up. To make it worse, there are two other issues on my invoice that I clearly communicated were issues. Those were never addressed and still remain as issues. I also communicated those on Apr 7. They didn't address them then either. I have never in my life received such deplorable service. Ever. Anywhere. **Update: After I submitted this, I thought I should probably call the General Manager directly and let him know of my problems. I did. He at least appeared to be very concerned and apologetic. I'm taking my car back tomorrow morning. Perhaps it will finally get fixed now. They are also giving me a loaner. More
We have dealt with Earl Ray for over 10 years now and if ANYONE wants a salesman who truly cares and can get your goal accomplished, you absolutely need to speak to Earl. We just purchased our 6th vehicle ANYONE wants a salesman who truly cares and can get your goal accomplished, you absolutely need to speak to Earl. We just purchased our 6th vehicle from Autonation Laurel, Earl was our salesman in each and every one of these purchases. We could have went to any dealer we chose, we live in WV, so it's a drive to get there, but because of Earl's loyalty to us, we will stay loyal to him and Autonation Laurel. There are no words to describe how much it means to us to have someone that we can call, who knows who I am without asking, and by the time we make the drive down, Earl has everything waiting, a good selection of vehicles that we are interested in, and then makes the process go along as smoothly as we have ever had it. And we can't forget Michelle in finance. She is awesome! I only hope that Autonation realizes what they have in Earl Ray. He is one of a kind!!!! And our thanks to Riley in the purchase we made last night, very much appreciated!! More
Mr. Bill Curry was an amazing car sales man. I had a great experience going in and didn't feel pressured into getting my Acadia. He made sure I understood how things worked in the truck and spent extra great experience going in and didn't feel pressured into getting my Acadia. He made sure I understood how things worked in the truck and spent extra time going through what I didn't understand. He even set up my OnStar before I left the store. I even got a phone call and email to make sure everything was working well after my purchase. I will definitely recommend AutoNation (Laurel) to anyone looking for a great price and outstanding customer service. More
I entered the AutoNation dealership with a problem. I had purchased a 2500 HD gas engine a month earlier and it could not acceptably tow our new RV. I needed to trade in the gas engine and purchase a di had purchased a 2500 HD gas engine a month earlier and it could not acceptably tow our new RV. I needed to trade in the gas engine and purchase a diesel 2500 HD. I returned to the dealership where I purchased the gas engine. They tried to assist me, but there trade in offer combined with the price of the diesel was totally unacceptable. I then called Kyle Englert, and he identified a diesel at another dealership, brought it to AutoNation, and prep'd it. I went to the dealership in the evening after work and Kyle and his boss John offered a trade in/purchase package that was better than I expected. We closed the deal during my first visit to the dealership. Even after I agreed to the deal, Kyle and his boss found a couple other incentives that made my initial mistake with the gas engine a little less painful. I drove away with the diesel that night. Kyle and John were very personable, extremely professional, and very proficient in assembling an acceptable package. They helped me overcome a very serious problem with a minimum of pain. Yesterday afternoon, I called Kyle about a possible purchase to eliminate another vehicle payment problem I have due to an impending layoff. He quickly responded with the information I needed to make a decision. More
I'd never had any dealings with Fox in Laurel, Md. before and decided to give them a try. The initial meeting was arranged via intenet with a discount coupon offered as an incentive on top of any negotiated and decided to give them a try. The initial meeting was arranged via intenet with a discount coupon offered as an incentive on top of any negotiated deal, by the sales manager. The intial contact with the salesman, Dwyne Shoemaker was pleasant enough. He knows his product and even offered to have 2 customers call me with testimonials on a Chevy Volt, the car we wanted. Later that week, I brought in my wife, we signed many papers and the Volt we wanted was to be obtained "off of their other lot" and prepped. I got a call stating that our reserved car had been sold to another, but another one was located. (it too was sold to another we were later told) I believe that buying a car should be fun, slowly all of the "fun" is draining out of this deal. We were offered another 3rd car that they'd bring in but it was totally the wrong car in the wrong color. Later that evening, Medley the sales manager called to say that they'd located a car exactly as we wanted but it could be shipped only if we'd agree to pay the frieght. I thought that this was outrageous in light of the fact that Fox screwed up twice. I'd figured they'd just rectify a bad situation but I was wrong with these folks. I told them to keep looking. I had to call the sales manager, Riley to find out what was going on a few days later as I had absolutely no contact. I was promised that they'd get right back to me and also refund the Mastercard rebate redemption they'd taken. This refund took my new dealer and many calls from me to reinstate. I am disappointed with Fox. Don't they care about their reputation and word of mouth?, guess not. QR More
