My truck blew the engine near Amarillo. We had it towed into Autonation. They put a new engine in and cost was little over $23000. I called on a Thursday to let them know I would be there We had it towed into Autonation. They put a new engine in and cost was little over $23000. I called on a Thursday to let them know I would be there on Monday. On Monday we drive 5 hours to Amarillo pay the 23k and get the receipt THEN they said the truck is in the back so we walk back there and they are working on the truck. There was a check engine light on and they couldn’t figure why. We waited 3 hours it was closing time and they said we have it figured out. Also asked me to pay more money to get parts. I said no way. They had the truck all week still couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Told us they called in an expert and had it fixed. They delivered the truck to us with no check engine light BUT the truck still misfires. If you have a diesel truck do not go to Autonation for service. More
