On Thursday November 4th I went to the Autonation dealership in West Palm Beach. I was looking for a used Cadillac sedan. Upon entering the showroom I saw a 2018 sedan that I thought was interesting. dealership in West Palm Beach. I was looking for a used Cadillac sedan. Upon entering the showroom I saw a 2018 sedan that I thought was interesting. The salesman, Mike Hines, was very informative when I expressed a very keen interest in purchasing the vehicle. I asked if I could test drive the vehicle and was told because it was raining the car couldn’t leave the showroom. We made arrangements the next day to test drive the vehicle, no rain that day. As we were driving to the dealer for our 11:00 o’clock appointment the salesman called to say the car had been sold. I asked way I wasn’t given the courtesy of at least making an offer after my appointment for the test drive. The manger, Adam, said the buyer had been in previously and came back to make the purchase. Both Adam and Mike knew this person was coming to make the purchase and never indicated someone else was interested. I think this is a very underhand practice. I leased my 2020 Cadillac from this dealership so you would think there would e some common courtesy extended to past customers. I still have a year and half left on my lease but I will never return and take my business to dealerships that respect and appreciate customer relationships. Respectfully, Michael P. Childrose More
