I own a 2020 Cadilac XT4 with 10,000 miles on it. I was contacted by Auto Nation Cadillac to set up a appointment for oil change. I asked this person if this oil change would be at no cost because of the m contacted by Auto Nation Cadillac to set up a appointment for oil change. I asked this person if this oil change would be at no cost because of the mileage on my Cadillac and age. I was told it would be done at no cost. I also requested to have the tires rotated based on the mileage. I asked again if I would be charged for the tire rotation. The person who called me was not sure. I requested her to have someone call me to confirm I would not be charged for the tire rotation. No one from Auto Nation ever called me about the tire rotation. When I arrived for the oil change/tire rotation (8:00 AM) all the advisors were sitting around talking to each other and not waiting on us customers in front of them. Then I advised to them I had an appointment for an oil change/tire rotation. I was told my assigned advisor was not their yet and just wait. After waiting a while my advisor finally arrived. Finally she asked why I was at the dealership which I told her a second time for an oil change/tire rotation. she then asked where my car was and I told her right in front of her. I advised that I was waiting for my car to get an oil change and tire rotation. She stated it will be a while to complete the oil change/tire rotation. I said when I made the appointment I was told it should take about an hour to complete the oil change/tire rotation. No comment from my assigned service advisor. Finally after a little over an hour my car is sitting in the drive through area. I go into the service advisor area and my advisor is missing again. I ask assistance for the other 4 advisors sitting around. They tell me she should be back shortly. 10 minutes later my advisor shows up. I tell her my car appears to be done. She checks and says yes its done. 10 plus minutes later she provides me paperwork to sign and the bill for $100 plus dollars. I asked why am I being charges for the oil change/tire rotation for a new car with 10,000 miles. All my other Cadillac's I own receive no cost oil changes for first 3 years of ownership. No response or answer. I advised her I will never use this Cadillac dealership again and left. Then I called my Cadillac dealer in Michigan and they advise all their customer no charge oil changes for vehicles purchased from them. Guess I should of bought this Cadillac from them instead of crappy Auto Nation. I will never purchase from them again. Not based on this nickel and dime me type of service department and practices. I have a problem with the dash lights staying on after turning the car off…..however this only happens once or twice a week. They had the vehicle for three day and couldn’t fix the issue. Of course, th turning the car off…..however this only happens once or twice a week. They had the vehicle for three day and couldn’t fix the issue. Of course, the next day it happened again. The dealer had no issue selling me the vehicle when new. Now, the warranty expires in two weeks and that will leave me with fixing the problem that they should have fixed in the first place, With all the thousands of cars that go through the dealership, I find it hard to believe that my car was the only one with this issue and couldn’t be fixed. More
