This was my second time going to this dealership. I had a great first experience here so I tried to bring my car back. In fact Ive tried to schedule an appointment two other times for an oil change a I had a great first experience here so I tried to bring my car back. In fact Ive tried to schedule an appointment two other times for an oil change and have failed both times as it was all booked. But this time I was lucky and got an appointment, and needed an A16 maintenance. Benny was my service advisor. And in truthful honesty it was the worst service I had ever received, when bringing a car in for service. I waited longer for Benny to come and assist me then it did for him to write up the service report. I dropped of the car at 11:45am and it took 3 hours to do a motor oil and rear diff oil change. Benny had called me at 1:23pm about other services that my car needed. But not before him telling me to check my text messages. When I told him I didn’t receive anything, is when he told me about the other services. He told me my car would be ready by 3pm and I arrived at the dealership 2:40. I went up to his desk and told him, I was here to pick up my car, and was told it would take another 5 minutes.(which is not a problem I already waited nearly 3 hours what’s another 5 or 10 minutes ) The problem came when I was waiting for him in the lounge area. Instead of him coming to get me, he chose to shout my name from his desk. I walk over to his desk, and he proceeds to go through my paper work, while licking his fingers and never once explained any of the other services that my car needed. (Side note…. GOOD JOB ON COVID SAFTY 👍 ! IT WAS A BLAST TO HAVE TO TOUCH SPIT COVERED PAPER, CREDIT CARD AND KEYS) I try to pay for my bill and the reader doesn’t read, so he takes my card and manually enters it in. I look over the paper work, and asked him about the rear diff issue that he mention on the phone and he responds “ it’s all detailed in there, just read it over” Benny never went through the report with me. In fact I threw it out as I was walking back to my car. So I don’t know what work my car needs. Again… good job with covid safety!! next time he should just spit all over my car while he’s at it… gotta take that customer service an extra mile and thank you Benny for booking my next appointment without talking to me. It was great to know that you want my money come February !!! Thanks, but I Will be taking my business else where. It was nice Spending $386 to potentially catch covid… best thrill ride ever. Bought my Acura here and have been taking it here for service for the last 16 years. They always do an awesome job, keep me well updated throughout the process on issues, costs and when car will be ready service for the last 16 years. Latest service appt was a horrific experience. 930 am Fri Appt. Car dropped off efficiently. B 1 and 2 and requested brakes to be checked. Received two photos a couple of hrs later, no phone call 930 am Fri Appt. Car dropped off efficiently. B 1 and 2 and requested brakes to be checked. Received two photos a couple of hrs later, no phone call until 330. “Rear brakes need to be replaced”. Car will be ready Sat am. Not an issue. Sat I called at 2 to check on status. Transferred to VM. Sent text, no reply. Called again at 330 waited on hold for 10 mins while women who answered phone tried to find someone to help me. No one available. Turned up at 4. 3 Acura employees sitting outside service area on bench talking and laughing. Inside probably 5 customers waiting to be helped. Only Benny working. The other 2 sitting playing on their phones. 20 mins later, Benny said he was working on my paperwork and give him 2 mins. He then asked “Carlos”!! I think. to do him a favor. Reply was “no, I need to wash my hands” Benny replied “ I don’t know why you come in. You don’t do anything “ Carlos “ that’s why I love this job. I don’t have to do anything” Then walked off laughing. This exchange happened in front of customers. I was then informed my brakes had not been fixed as parts where on back order. I was and still speechless. No communication, lazy employees. Benny called for my car to be pulled up twice. I ended up just getting myself walking past the 3 outside still sitting and laughing. Was told parts manger would call me Mon to apologize and reschedule appt. Surprise no one has reached out to me. When you have so many choices and you decide to pay top $ to have your car serviced at the dealership you expect at a minimum to be treated at a certain level. You failed on all levels from lack of communication, rude lazy employees, uncaring employees, lack of follow up. I cannot fault Benny as he was very efficient and friendly, he had zero support. More
