After much research on the internet I submitted a request for pricing on a 2012 TL SH-AWD with the Tech Package. I specifically requested an "out the door" price (cost of the car, tax and all fee's included) for pricing on a 2012 TL SH-AWD with the Tech Package. I specifically requested an "out the door" price (cost of the car, tax and all fee's included). Power Acura of South Bay was the only dealership to send me a quote with an out the door price. Not only did they give me exactly what I asked for they were $1000 less than all of the other prices quoted to me from competing dealerships. Obviously the other dealerships wanted my business and one of them offered to match the price, but all of the others said they couldn't touch it. I knew right then that I had a great deal. I drove from Santa Barbara to Torrance knowing I was getting the best deal on a car that was equipped exactly the way I wanted. Upon my arrival I was greeted immediately by Nadim Naheem. He was friendly and we went right to work on the deal. Since the price had been set all that was left was finding the value of my trade. They offered me exactly what I anticipated the car was worth. There was no dickering, no back and forth....period. Once the paper work for the loan was processed (which took less than 30 minutes) I was introduced to Marouan Mossadaq (the finance manager). Again I was greeted warmly and with respect. It is his job to offer me extended warranties and extras. He did so without being pushy and was open to hear why I was interested in some of the extras and not others. Because I'm from out of town (but will visit frequently) he offered to help me arrange my services by personally contacting the service manager and ensuring I would be taken care of in a timely manner when I do pass through. I can't say enough about this dealership and how I was treated. This was absolutely the best and most pain free car buying experience I've ever had. I recently purchased an '06 RSX from South Bay. As they were the only dealership within a 300 mile radius that had the exact car I wanted, I drove the 200 miles to them. Upon negotiation of the sale, Nade were the only dealership within a 300 mile radius that had the exact car I wanted, I drove the 200 miles to them. Upon negotiation of the sale, Nadeem agreed to include a trunk-tray w/ the deal, however since the parts dep. was closed (Sunday) we agreed that it would be shipped to me. 2 1/2 months and 4 unreturned phone calls later, I have STILL not received my trunk-tray. Two of the times I called, Nadeem said that it would be shipped that day. I finally called Acura Client Services only to, once again, get no response from the dealership. I finally dealt w/ someone in the parts dept. who, after forgetting to ship it for a week, now says it's in transit (we'll see). Overall I am very displeased with the customer service from this dealership. I would STRONGLY recomend going to another dealership (knew I shoulda bought a mustang). More

1) Interested in getting an NSX through the special lease program advertised by Acura, contacted numerous Acura dealerships throughout the southland.<br><br>2) Ali Fattahania, Internet Sales Manager of Acura program advertised by Acura, contacted numerous Acura dealerships throughout the southland.<br><br>2) Ali Fattahania, Internet Sales Manager of Acura South Bay contacted me and assured me that they could order an NSX and get it to me on my timeframe.<br><br>3) Went down to Acura of South Bay, met with Ali. Got all the paperwork and I put a deposit down on 03/06/04. Wanted the car on 06/01/04 as my lease was ending on my previous car. Ali, told me no problem since I gave him so much lead time, it would be built in March or April.<br><br>4) Approximately every 2-3 weeks I would write him an email or call him to confirm we were on schedule. Would receive very quick emails/phone calls from him that we were good to go and delivery for 06/01/04 was good. Did this 4 times.<br><br>5) Sent an email on 05/25/04 to get final confirmation, and schedule an appointment time to meet on 06/01/04 to complete paperwork and pick up car. Got no response.<br><br>6) Called Ali Fattahania on 05/27/01 to get an appointment time. Mr. Fattahania calls me in the afternoon saying we have a problem. Apparently my car never got produced in March or April, and he only found out that day. He said my car "might" be produced in July as they did not have enough orders for a producton run. Could not guarantee that my car would even be produced in July, and I might get the car in Sept. At that point I had to cancel as I was turning in my car in 5 days (off lease) based on his assurances. <br><br>7) We tried to work out something on another Acura car. He wanted to offer me a TL A-Spec at invoice plus $1000, at which point I flatly refused (not to mention he wanted to charge me $8K for the A Spec package at first, then later sell it to me "at cost" of $5200). After talking/arguing to General Manager he agreed to sell it to me for invoice. They did not have the color/option I wanted, but said they would get it to me. Never heard back from them. <br><br>8) Cancelled all dealings with them, and asked them to return my security deposit. Sent in a complaint to Acura Client Services.<br><br>9) ACS called me and apologized and said they could do nothing but refer my letter to the GM of the dealership....so basically nothing is going to happen.<br><br>Needless to say this is probably my first and last experience with Acura. I was more upset with the fact that he didn't call me in March/April to tell me that my car wasn't made, instead of 5 days before I turned in my other car. I know some of you were wondering why I went from a 911 to an RX8. Just wanted to tell you what happened. Sucks, because in dealing with the Glendale Honda dealership (Colonial) I have had nothing but positive experiences More
