We had email confirmations from the General Manager, Bill Hazely, for an OTD price on a 2020 Acura RDX BASE model for 36,500 CASH. We have the GM’s confirmation in writing guaranteeing the price without having to do financing. Once we got there after 2 hours of traffic, “HASSAN” popped up saying he was not going to honor the deal!! He was the rudest xxxxx. I demanded he call his boss the GM who approved the deal in writing. He said he did but no response! Big liar! I am sending my complaint to Acura Customer Services with copies of GM’s email approvals. “HASSAN” had no problem speaking from both ends of his gastrointestinal tract! He lied to us back and forth like he had been trained to do so! I wonder if Acura trains their sales dummies to speak to the customers as blowing hot and obnoxious air out of their every orifice💨💩💩💩🤑🕸🕷👺😈👎🏻⚠️ More

No issues with her. Last month, I reached back out on behalf of my fiancee as she was interested in leasing the 2019 ILX. She previously leased 2 cars with them and had great experiences both times, so we were looking to lease a 3rd car with them. Hassan Roberson responded as Janet was not in the office that day and proceeded to give us a low ball offer with a marked up Money Factor rate. The things that were most upsetting were: 1. No acknowledgement of being a repeat customer (he thought I was getting lease numbers for a friend) 2. Every request for more details on the leasing numbers was met with a response of "I already gave you these numbers" even though it was in their typical leasing sheet that doesn't clarify all numbers that are unique to a lease. 3. When we requested the base Money Factor rate for Tier 1 credit, he passed along a heavily marked up rate as their base rate (this was the last straw) To give you an idea of how bad they low balled us, their lease offer on a BASE 2019 ILX was $100 per month more than the lease offer we ended up signing elsewhere on a 2019 ILX A-SPEC PREMIUM, which is a more expensive car. Total drive offs were very close as well. Plus, the dealer we went with was 100% transparent with all numbers the entire process. As an Autonation dealer, and as a repeat customer, we are shocked on the offer given to us, and the overall lack of acknowledgement of being a repeat customer... I thought Autonation dealers were known to provide the highest service and aggressive rates on their vehicles but I guess I was wrong. It looks like dealer loyalty bears no meaning nowadays. More
Knowledgeable, Caring Dealership If I could give more stars I would. I came to AutoNation by chance. I was on the 405 freeway when 3 of my service lights came on simultaneously, indicating failure. I pulled over and the nearest Acura dealership was AutoNation. During check-in my knowledgeable service advisor, Kelly Gilbertson, pointed out that my front tires were completely bare and suggested that I may want to have them replaced at some point (without being pushy at all to do it there). Note - I only have 14K miles on my car so the tires should not be severely worn. About an hour after I dropped off my vehicle, Kelly called me and said they've identified the issue with the lights and it's related to the tires; apparently at my last wheel alignment the technician left both my tie rods loose - which could potentially be very dangerous for me. Previously I'd only gone to Hooman Santa Monica and they were the last ones to perform the alignment 5 months ago. Naturally I called Hooman very upset about the situation and, long story short, Hooman would not reimburse AutoNation to have my 2 tires replace nor pay for a new alignment. Throughout the ordeal, Kelly contacted Hooman directly and tried to work with manager at Hooman. He must have spent about a couple hours that day just going back and forth with them. He even had his technicians and Director involved and really fought for me to have these expenses covered. At the end of the day, the dishonest - inhuman Hooman dealership wouldn't accept responsibility so I raised the issue with Acura Client Relations. Even Acura Client relations did not deal with this issue like I thought they would, so AutoNation stepped up and really took care of me. They replaced my tires and performed a correct wheel alignment and now my car drives perfectly. I am forever grateful to this dealership. More

Tony Avilla is the best!! My Austin, Tx dealership let me drive across the US with the malfunctioning airbag. This is ALL and ONLY due in part to the OUTSTANDING SERVICE and EXCELLENT CARE that I always receive from Kelly Gilbertson. My most recent visit has proved to be nothing short from the amazing and detailed service that I have always received. Even though the service that I needed on my car was for a pricey catalytic converter, Kelly made sure to work with me and give me the best deal possible. Who can't appreciate and want to stay completely loyal to a service tech who understands the financial hardships of a customer, speaks to you honestly and openly about what service is most important to attend to and what can wait, and yet does his best to work with you while continuing to give you that extra care and thoughtfulness that is just genuinely how he conducts business.This is why I will continue to bring my car only to AutoNation for servicing. Kelly is consistently polite, listens to all of my concerns and truly cares about delivering that A+ customer service.. I also appreciate the mechanics work on my car. To date, everything that they have fixed is still working properly. In a time where there are so many dishonest dealerships trying to nickel and dime you for everything, its nice to find one that genuinely cares about their customers. More

We came to agreement and Brian advised that I had to pick up the car that night. No problem he was told that I am getting off work now and driving from San Diego to LA to pick up the car. I had taken time off of work, contacted a friend to drive me to LA and off we went. Approximately an hour into the drive, we were contacted by Brian Detz and were told to turn around that they sold the car to someone else. We had a valid written and oral contract that they unilaterally cancelled. I contacted the dealership and asked to speak to the General Manager. The General Manager, Chase, called me back and stated that he would find me another car at a comparable price and packages. We have heard nothing from Chase in two days. I know is must be busy, but don't you think that he should try to do something since we had a valid contract and they sold the car from under me? We have also asked for the owner's name and number so we could give him a call to let him know how their business is being operated. I have not received the owner's name in the two days since I first requested it. Unfortunately, since the owner is not calling me back and they are not providing me with his number, I assume that this is the way they operate and the owner agrees with the way company is being operated. NOW DOESN'T THIS SOUND LIKE TYPICAL CAR SALESMEN. We are now in the process of filing a lawsuit against Autonation Acura for breach of contract. Anyone that does business with this company needs to watch out. They employ liars and cheats and will not deliver per their agreement. SEE YOU IN COURT AUTONATION. I am also filing reports to the better business bureau and the consumer affairs division of California. More

I know that in this rush world where people are in a hurry all the time, a person like Sherwin should be rewarded with at least a good review.
