A typical dealership inclined to employing undesirable practices. Bought a brand new car from them and they added a ton of extras which I explicitly said I didn't want. The agreed base price during the in practices. Bought a brand new car from them and they added a ton of extras which I explicitly said I didn't want. The agreed base price during the initial sales talk wasn't honored as well. I regretted having signed the paperwork prior to seeing the full price breakdown (they show that towards the end of the stack when you're almost done signing - too late!). Lastly, the salesperson said they will not honor outside financing, which may understandable during these times, but the thought of being lied to is just appalling! Overall, it was not a pleasant experience and I will never do business with them again. More

I scheduled an appointment on 05/04/22 (Wed) for replacement of front struts on my 2014 MDX. This was my second visit after parts were ordered one week prior. Drove 45 minutes to the dealership and replacement of front struts on my 2014 MDX. This was my second visit after parts were ordered one week prior. Drove 45 minutes to the dealership and arrived in time for 8am appointment. At 9am, I received the following text message: "Hey there this is marcos with acura service. I spoke with the technician and we are missing about half the shop of technicians due to vacation so he told me it would take most of the day. either we can reschedule for a day with more time and a loaner if you think that would work best for you - Marcos" Given that I took time off from work to have my car worked on that morning and that I told the service advisor that I would be waiting with the car when I made the appointment, this was very disappointing on a number of levels and I expect more from that dealership having purchased three cars there. Why were half of the technicians allowed to take vacation on the same day? Why wasn't I notified the day prior that there would not be a sufficient number of technicians to service my vehicle? Why were all of these technicians out on a Wednesday? Ultimately, they finished the job around 1:30pm which was better than originally forecasted by the service advisor, but the fact that it took 5.5 hours and that we had to have the ridiculous discussion (via text; not in person -- I was sitting in the waiting area at the dealership) about 1/2 of the technicians being out on vacation left a bad taste in my mouth. 4 hours for oil change. They did not reset to reflect oil change- had to return to dealership for them to reset. Paperwork shows battery status checked and battery ok. 3 day They did not reset to reflect oil change- had to return to dealership for them to reset. I was treated with respect and kindness although it may sound simple but it’s truly rare in this day and age. Everyone was helpful and made my car purchasing experience enjoyable. sound simple but it’s truly rare in this day and age. Everyone was helpful and made my car purchasing experience enjoyable. More
