We met Josh outside the dealership on a Sat. Even though it was cold he was standing outside in his suit apparently undaunted. He met with us immediately and was very polite. He hurried us inside and offered us coffee, hot chocolate, and soda. After we were comfortable and had exchanged some small talk he asked what he could help us with. We wanted to see the 2014 MDX and he showed us one inside the showroom. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and walked us around telling us everything from how it was built, to all the seen and unseen features. Also impressive was all the anecdotes and quotes from third party sources he had readily available about the performance of the vehicle. He was full of stories! We just talked and enjoyed ourselves, and he gave us a nice book to remember all the info he gave. He offered us a drive which was important for this visit, He even let us pick the color for the test drive. We told him we wouldn't buy the first day as soon as we started, and he never pushed us. He did offer some financing, leasing, pricing options to try and "entice" us, in a laughing way, but we stuck to our guns. We also appreciated that he introduced us to his manager so we knew who we'd be dealing with, possibly. We knew from our research that the MDX is awesome. So we went back on Monday and asked for Josh again. He promised us honesty and simplicity, and we received that in negotiations. We knew the vehicle's price and so had some smaller factors we wanted deals on. Josh worked with us and we got what we wanted! He took his time before and after we visited the finance office telling us about all the Acura perks and extras we received with a new vehicle (there's A LOT), including how to work our phone, navigation, and the Aha for online. We racked his brain and have been back 3 more times and he's stayed with us. Plus, every time we visit he gives us a car wash and quick interior clean. We bought Acura because they are the best and don't inflate prices. We will always work with Josh because he was raised right and cares about people. And I wouldn't want to disappoint him, haha. More
We have experienced top-notch customer service from Clayton Davis. We had the good fortune to have Paul Z work on my mother's 1996 Acura. Our only mistake, through this laborious effort that started 6 weeks ago, was not taking the car to Acura at the start. The dealership is most fortunate to have these two quality representatives on staff. They took superlative care of us for which we are most appreciative. Thank you. Joy and Phil McDonald More
Waited 1.5 hours for a wheel alignment, the service advisor Clayton said something was wrong with the alignment printer so we didn't have before and after calibrations. MDX pulled to the left and I ca advisor Clayton said something was wrong with the alignment printer so we didn't have before and after calibrations. MDX pulled to the left and I called back to complain and they said that the service manager Graig was gone and he couldn't call me back until Monday (as it was Friday at 5:45 PM); fifteen minutes later Graig the Service Manger called me back and said he was looking at my account! Graig wanted me to bring in the car again after the service advisor told me he wasn't sure if the alignment rack was wrong or whether the technician was wrong. I asked for my money to be returned as I didn't want to waste my time. Graig the Service Manager stated it wasn't their policy to return money back to the customer! He stated that he wanted to try to fix the vehicle again, this is not the first time I've had to bring my vehicle back a second time for the same repair! After not backing down he finally agreed to return my money then stated have a good day to which he rudely and abruptly hung up on me. Brand new 2011 $43,000 MDX been recalled two times, engine pings, both side view mirrors repaired, window motor replaced, rear cup holder replaced two times, window rattles....Would NEVER EVER buy Acura again would not recommend Pikes Peak Acura! Bought a used Jeep from Pikes Peal Acura 3 months ago. Heard a rattle in either the transmission or clutch and specifically asked them to check it out before I bought it. They had their mechanics look at Heard a rattle in either the transmission or clutch and specifically asked them to check it out before I bought it. They had their mechanics look at it and assured me that there was nothing wrong. 3 months later and it needs a $4500 transmission. Guess what? Since nothing is in writing they refuse to help me out. Was I lied to or are their service people just incompetent? Now their sales manager does not even return calls after he promises to. DO NOT buy from this dealership! More
I came in looking for a used BMW, Lexus, or Mercedes. A certain BMW was on my mind though as it caught my eye online. Josh approached me right in front of the dealership after I parked. He knew of the vehi certain BMW was on my mind though as it caught my eye online. Josh approached me right in front of the dealership after I parked. He knew of the vehicle I was looking for. After asking me what it was that I liked about the BMW he mentioned a few similar vehicles that he had in stock that were BMW and Lexus, including two that had just come in and were parked behind the building. He even mentioned Mercedes, but shortly, and I found out why later. He asked me why I was looking at those vehicles and then narrowed the field for me, although he did offer to show all the cars and let me drive any amount. He was able to give us fuel ratings, reliability ratings (he even quoted the companies that he used!), and told us about personal experiences and why some vehicles were traded in. He did present some Acuras to us, they had beautiful interiors but the exteriors weren't as cool for those years, but he never pushed us into any brand or make us buy. We were very happy. Once we discussed the numbers he cut right to the chase, made us comfortable, took care of our financial concerns, and showed us the invoice for the BMW (in addition to our research we were doing from our phones concurrently). Once we made a deal he was very excited and even brought his manager out to shake our hand. Finance treated us with respect and gave us good options for extended warranties, and the detail department presented the car to us totally clean. Josh even went so far as to take us back to service and introduce us to their manager who told us he would take care of us personally in the future. We did make the dealership give us a discount on an extended inspection, which they gladly gave. Josh and a tech even took me back to the bay to show me firsthand there weren't any leaks, which had been a primary concern. Josh was awesome. Go to this dealership because they were fair and it's a nice place, then see Josh because he's not stereotypical sleazy. He's a young guy that cares. I don't know if it's because of him being kind of new, his Southern upbringing, or parents, or his college/previous career experience that built his manners, but he'll make you happy. I just don't understand some of these other reviews, but then I wasn't there, but this dealership is great. More
Called the service department to get recall work done on my MDX. After 10 minutes, I finally told the gentleman (wish I remembered his name) that I could not handle his rudeness anymore and hung up. We went to buy a car from Pikes Peak Acura about a week ago and we bought the car from them. The next day car started jumping and we took to the Nissan dealership and found out there is transmission issue ago and we bought the car from them. The next day car started jumping and we took to the Nissan dealership and found out there is transmission issue and many other issues with the car. We took the car back to them and they refused to take it back and they were giving us the option to buy double price car. When we took the car back to Acura and wanted talk to the sales manager. The manager didn't talk to us for the first 2 times. We had to go there 5 times to solve the issue. We even offered them to split the prices to fix the issue with the car and they didn't accept it. The sales manager told us that he will help us with this and he said he will call us back but he never called us. We called him many times and he didn't answer our phone and we went back to the dealership after trying so many times. They were trying to sell us another car and I told them that I don't trust them anymore. I was asking how much it would cost to fix the car and they were charging triple labor. We decided to fix the car from some where else. I have bought many cars in my life and never had this bad experience. DO NOT EVER BUY YOUR CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. Don't ever go to them.... They cheat their customers and they lie to their customers. More

I had an extremely pleasant car buying experience at Pikes Peak Acura, thanks to my sales consultant, Phil Moon. He is a total rockstar! Phil was easy to talk to, easy to work with and had a great sense of humor as well. I have NEVER had such a smooth, enjoyable purchasing experience in all my years. The dealership itself had many cars to choose from, and Phil was honest and straightforward in providing guidance as to which cars would be better choices, even steering me to a lower cost vehicle at a point! I drove onto that lot with my guard up, ready to fight and CERTAINLY NOT buying a car that day... but all that changed with the great respect I was treated with and the comfort level I felt working with Phil. It is obvious that he employs the Golden Rule in his professional atmosphere, and it was pleasantly surprising and refreshing. By the end of the transaction, I was already prepared to send all my friends and family to Phil, and I told him so - and then he STILL told me about his $300 per referral offering, even though he would have had all my referrals anyway, even without such a generous offer. I want to sing his praises regardless - I am SO happy with my new ride and the tremendous lack of stress and anxiety I felt while procuring it. As for price, we all want to spend less and we all want the best deal. Unfortunately for me, my credit situation could use some improvement... so financing was a bit of a challenge. However, Phil was ultra patient and considerate and he took a lot of time from his day to help make the deal work. Was I hoping to spend a little less? Sure! We all do! But I am ecstatic with my purchase and my experience, and I will return to Pikes Peak Acura and Phil Moon when I'm ready to do it again! More
Update: About three hours after an idiotic and untrue Update: About three hours after an idiotic and untrue response from an intellectually challenged individual and my brief rebuttal, I received a mes Update: About three hours after an idiotic and untrue response from an intellectually challenged individual and my brief rebuttal, I received a message from Harlan - the only honest individual we'd dealt with, indicating the General Sales Manager wanted to have a word. I was assured he was an honorable man and that speaking to him would be more than an exercise in futility. In the first few minutes on the phone with Leif, he was apologetic, upset, and confused as to why anyone in his employ would be so dishonest, actually driving potential customers from Acura. He disclosed that Jerry was not a long-time employee. I suggested that he shouldn't be a long-term employee either, based on the inexcusable way we were treated. Leif stated that he wanted me as a valuable customer who would call him personally with any issues/problems. He came across as sincere and I sensed nothing but concern and the honest desire to put the ugly past behind us. We moved the discussion to our previous offer on the Rdx. Although his initial starting price was slightly higher than the previous starting number, with the full trade-in amount, down payment, and a reduced interest rate, our monthly payment would be slightly lower than the previous offer. When I asked how he could just reduce the rate, he stated that he would call in a favor to finance and they'd make it happen. His offer resulted in exactly what we asked for on a vehicle we loved. With the interest rate a quarter point lower than the original offer, we'd even pay less over the life of the loan. However, after going in twice expecting to sign and having such bad experiences, we might not take advantage of this incredible deal. My suggestion: If you fall in love with an Acura ask for Harlan, since I know he's honorable and has integrity. Then look at your offer closely, and if anything looks off, ask for Leif. Don't walk away from something great, just because of a couple of untrustworthy individuals. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Harlan was our salesman. He was nothing but nice and worked to accommodate us in every way. I would do business with him again, but not at Pikes Peak Acura. After a few test drives and a trade-in quote on our car, we went in on Saturday 8/25 and presented the Costco offer on a new RDX. A trade-in amount of $4000 had been offered on our current vehicle. We immediately learned that although the Costco offer includes the delivery fee, dealerships add their own additional advertising, and other costs, raising the total by approximately $1000 over the price Costco provides. We negotiated a few times with Bruce and received three different offers based on different down payments and term lengths. After an hour of no further progress we walked away, since the attitude was starting to amp up making us uncomfortable. We took the hard copy of the the offer we liked best with us when we left. We were told by Bruce it was good until the end of the month, but after that the value of our trade would be lower. We actually called and spoke to him 5 minutes after leaving and told him we'd return after church to buy the vehicle if they had the time. After he didn't return the call, I left 2 messages on Jerry the sales managers phone - which we're never returned. After a few texts and calls with Harlan, since we no longer wanted to deal with Bruce, we returned Tuesday 8/28 with the offer in hand to purchase the vehicle. Since the offer we had in hand was over $1500 below the average people were paying online, and we really liked the vehicle, we came back - as long as we could deal with Harlan. Harlan started the paperwork but hit a snafu when we presented the offer received from Bruce, rather than the initial offer. After going back and forth a few times, Bruce came out. He was holding the original offer. He claimed that all offers were for vehicles currently on the lot - even though we never discussed taking a current vehicle and, as we pointed out, he had written the color of a vehicle that would be arriving in a few weeks on the offer sheet. When we told him we wanted the other offer he had given us, he took our copy of it with him to Jerry's office. He came back and told us that offer was not good, only the initial offer. We then found out that even though on the offer form it said $4000 for our trade and listed a monthly payment, when the math was done, it actually only gave $3500 for our trade to get to that payment. We told him we wanted the offer we had left with, which truly gave us the $4000. He went to Jerry again and came back and said it was off the table and they wanted to give us less for our trade-in. We asked to see Jerry. When Jerry came out he was holding the offer giving only $3500 and our trade-in's title, which we had already given Harlan. He claimed that it was last month's offer and it was a new month. He took quite an attitude and stated firmly that this was the only offer, which was $500 below the offer we had received two business days prior - in the same month. I asked about the offer we arrived with and he said "what offer". My wife and I asked a few more times about why they were not standing by their offers and he kept stating the last month/new month argument. After several more New month arguments, and after I pointed out that the original offer was a $500 lie, I called him "A lying sack of Sh*t". He said he didn't have to take it and walked away. I followed him into his office and asked to see the original offers. He said "what offers? This is all I have" while rifling through someone else's folder - as though I already had a packed file on his desk. Apparently the offers conveniently vanished and proof of them no longer exists. Since at least some at this dealership have problems with deceitfulness, no respect for the customer, and total lack of integrity, we cannot do business with them. I would discourage anyone thinking about buying an Acura, to go elsewhere, or at the very least to check the math, since they have no problem writing down an offer by hand and presenting something different, and to their advantage, by type. Be aware. More
