I purchased a low milage Acura from this dealership in 2004. On the lot, I looked at a beautiful black car which 'because it was blocked in by other cars' we didn't test drive the first time we looked at 2004. On the lot, I looked at a beautiful black car which 'because it was blocked in by other cars' we didn't test drive the first time we looked at it. It took 3 visits before we were able to drive the car (the second visit WHICH WAS AN APPOINTMENT the car was 'sent out for detailing)'. At that third visit we sat down to discuss the sale and on the desk in front of me was the CarFax report I had requested on the 2nd visit. The fax indicated that the black acura model I was purchasing was a one-owner car w/no accident history. We settled on a price and I was told I could pick up the car in a day. When I picked up the car (which had been through detailing again?!?!?) things started looking odd. The interior panels were not snapped in place (I was told they were removed so the detailer could carefully clean between them. UGH!) and the car didn't behave like the one we test drove. There was a loud thud that came from the driver side door occastionally (which ended up being a screwdriver left behind by the 'detailer') and the paint began to fleck off of the front bumper. Then I noticed that there was overspray on the VIN tag and frame, and that body frame bolts on the driver side didn't match the same bolts on the passenger side. I later found that the car had indeed been in a severe accident, and that the CarFax report I had seen was not for my actual car. Incidentally, the paperwork we brought home after the purchase was missing the CarFax we were shown. Furthermore, when I asked them to fix the interior panels they took the car for exactly ONE DAY longer than the legal purchase return window. They pulled this off by, for days, fixing things I never requested. I drove there every night for a week, but even though they called to say the car was ready, they never fixed the right thing. On the day after the money-back-window, I explained what needed to be done again and a young tech jumped into the car and fixed it in 5 minutes. STAY AWAY. This dealership epitimizes the shady, double-dealing used car salesman. Don't let their inventory of luxury cars fool you! More
