Thank God for Jay I purchased a 2012 Acura at the beginning of March 2015. The car's headlight was not working. The salesman said they will fix it. They passed the stat I purchased a 2012 Acura at the beginning of March 2015. The car's headlight was not working. The salesman said they will fix it. They passed the state inspection and gave me the car with the understanding that the headlight problem was fixed. This was not the case. I called to complain and a week later they asked me to bring the car to the mechanic. I did and I picked the car two hours after they said problem was fixed. A day later the headlight stopped working again. I called to complain and was completely ignored. Finally I decided to take the car to Acura since it was still under manufactory warranty. I was told by Acura the car must have been in an accident (despite the clean car facts I was told by the automax sales person). Acura said that the headlight components including the wiring were replaced with second market parts. As a result, the manufactory warranty wouldn't cover the repairs. I ended up paying Acura $130 for diagnostic to find out what this dealer has been hiding all along. I called to complain and thank God I came across Jay Spady who has been nothing but outstanding. Jay immediately ordered all the parts from Acura and within days he called me so I can drop the car off and all repairs were taken care off in 4 hours. If not for Jay, I would have never ever recommend this dealer nor give 5 starts rating. In fact if Jay ever left, I will never ever use this dealer. I am also very disappointed that I was not reimbursed for the $130 I spent at Acura. The GM of automax did not feel like compensating me, completely disregarding the fact that this should never happen in the first place if his team was honest about the headlight issue. What a shame. Once again thanks to Jay Spaddy and the technician that worked on my car. I believe his name was Bernie Visocchi. More

Even went above and beyond to find a similar car on the lot to mine, called me back to walk me through a fix on problem I was experiencing. He's always prompt and friendly with the status checks when my car has been in for service. AutoMax has a great service department would like to give a special 5 Star Rating shout out to Jay!! More

When I did go to get the car he made sure there was gas and sent me off.. Excellent service More
I'm out $3,000, horrible experience I couldn't be more frustrated or disappointed. I purchased a car two weeks ago. I was overcharged $3,000, and while Dino and Mike promised to fix it I I couldn't be more frustrated or disappointed. I purchased a car two weeks ago. I was overcharged $3,000, and while Dino and Mike promised to fix it I've yet to get an answer on when I'll see the check. It took three tries to get the car registered in RI, so I didn't receive the car for a full week after I paid for it. And that was only because I told them if they didn't deliver it the deal was off. I paid $824 for registration and document fees, with the understanding that $150 of that fee was to have the car delivered to me in RI. When I pointed that out, I was scolded that it was the fee to have the car registered not delivered. (are you kidding me? what's the other $675 that you charged me?) Dino did deliver the car himself, after I complained about it. I just can't bring myself to believe that there are good intentions with this many issues. I am wondering if I'm ever going to get my $3,000 back or if I've been scammed? More

Paul was very specific to detail-what I could afford, what type of car I was interested in etc. Paul paid attention to what my needs/requests were and he found me a beautiful Nissan Altima within 2 days! Between Paul and Darren they pulled the paperwork and everything together so easily is was effortless for me as the customer. That meant alot to me. The environment is also upbeat and light in addition to their personalities are fun, yet very professional which makes the transaction enjoyable. I would buy there again and send others. More
Miss leading advertising & arrogant management team For anyone that leverages the various auto search tools such as Autotrader, AutoMax's advertised prices are consistently amongst the market/value lead For anyone that leverages the various auto search tools such as Autotrader, AutoMax's advertised prices are consistently amongst the market/value leaders. I had test drove several cars at several dealerships and knew what I wanted. AutoMax's pricing drew me into their dealership and I was greeted by a friendly and helpful salesman, John who stated up front that they advertise a very competitive price and don't negotiate pricing. I test drove the car and and agreed to purchase the car for the advertised price. This was a cash deal, no financing, no trade-ins. John came back and said they won't take the deal because I didn't finance the car which is what they rely on to offset their aggressive pricing. Additionally I didn't feel $1,500 for a warranty was worth the cost given the miles and credibility of the car. I was outspoken regarding how they were strong arming customers into unneeded financing or warranty's and they countered that the "disclaimer" in their advertised pricing was based on financing through them. There is only one pricing option, not one for cash and another based on financing and I find this to be a very misleading tactic to potential consumers. Additionally they sales managers were on the phone with vendors and discussing amongst themselves using completely disrespectful language including a consistent barrage of profanity. I am amazed at the unprofessional and arrogance of the sales management staff and I imagine they have a fairly high turn over of staff. They ended up selling me the car at the price advertised but to present it as doing it as a favor is ridiculous. I will send an email to Autotrader about the advertising practice and to the BBB as well. More
very disappointed I can not believe what happened today. Called dealership 5 days prior to coming up today and made appointment to see an Audi ,told by salesman to call I can not believe what happened today. Called dealership 5 days prior to coming up today and made appointment to see an Audi ,told by salesman to call prior to coming to make sure the car as available so as to not make a wasted trip (we live 3 hours from dealership). Contacted by this dealership 3 days ago and confirmed that I would be coming out on Saturday. After looking at another dealer called one 1/2 before coming to this dealership to say we were coming and to make sure car was available. Told car was available and to come in. When we arrived and talked to salesmen,were told car as not there due to recall fix the car needed. Got a "SORRY" and would we like to make another appointed. Hate the fact I was lied to and no remorse or effort to make sure the car was there and ready for me. I came out pre approved for a loan and ready to buy. It seemed as though they could not care. Don't wast your time with this group. More
