Regardless, I found everyone at the service desk to be courtesy and efficient. I waited two hours to simply have my snow tires taken off and it cost $100, which I expected. But then the charged me $2 for each mounting weight they used. That never happened with either of the previous owners. It was one fee, weights included. Similarly, I needed a day time running late replaced. I was quoted $6.50 for the part and was told to return the next day because they needed to order it. I expected there would be a nominal service charge and the whole thing would come in at no more that $20. When I got the bill it was $29 and the part was $14.40. When I question this, the courteous customer service person explained that he had quoted me for the wrong bulb, regardless, he said, they would have adjusted the service charge so that the price would be $29 no matter what the bulb cost. Wait. What? The service charges are on a sliding scale depending on what they want to price to come out to. That seems unfair and a little under handed. I don't want to make too big a deal out of this. They all seemed very nice. However, I felt they were "nickel and diming" me and that the pricing seemed somewhat dishonest. More

Great start, not a complete finish My service advisor was very nice. And the waiting space was comfortable. I was in and out in 2 hours. I'm recommending as they did make sure to maximize my visit. While at the dealership, it was discovered I needed my yearly ispection... something I wasn't expecting as I bought the car in December. I appreciate the proactiveness, but a bit bummed my car lasted only 5 months on inspection from the purchase. Also, upon my drive home, the low tire pressure light came on which was extremely frustrating since I had my tires rotated. It was discovered all were filled to 35psi, but the door sticker says 38psi. All 4 tires needed air and a reset of the tirepressure button. Just a little frustrating to be at a dealership and then having a warning light come on within a mile of home. Also, I noticed the sticker in my car advising of my next oil changes says to come back in 5,000 miles, but I'm pretty sure I can go up to 10,000 miles based on previous experience and information. More

The dealership we had been with was not willing to work with us at all since we were under water on our loan and quite frankly I was done with them anyways. In all honesty I was done with VW but I asked a buddy of mine who's in the business for a recommendation and he gave me Andy's number, one of the principals of VW of Newtown. I stopped in and within 5 minutes of talking to Andy I knew this was someone that I want to do business with. It was clear they don't want to just sell you a car they want to become your dealership for your next 10 cars. Not only were they considerate of my time they were extremely upfront about what I could expect and what they were trying to do. When it was all said and done Andy gave us significantly more for our trade in than the dealership we actually purchased it from, he discounted the car and gave me several options to choose from. We decided on an option for a beautiful new Tiguan and an extremely friendly and knowledgable associate walked me through the features and made sure to let me know if I ever have questions that I can always call or text him. This was the best experience I've ever had at a car dealership and I plan on getting an Atlas from them in a couple of years. This is a 10 star operation. More

I recently had an issue with my 2012 Jetta that my mechanic was unable to fix. I took it over to Colonial, and I was amazed with the service department. I met with Chad Condon, the service advisor, and he will be the reason I will continue to take my vehicle to this establishment. I'm not familiar with her owns Colonial Volkswagen, but Chad is as professional as they come. Thank you Mr. Condon, and thank you Colonial Volkswagen for all of your help! More
