He was patient, and supportive of questions and concerns I had asked. The financial end of the process was smooth and quick. In the past at other dealers it was a nightmare. I'll probably die before I pay off this car I bought my car through Doug, and I definitely felt swindled. I realize I didn't negotiate as vigorously as I have with other cars., but I don't feel I bought my car through Doug, and I definitely felt swindled. I realize I didn't negotiate as vigorously as I have with other cars., but I don't feel like I should have to be a hard negotiator in order to get a fair deal on my car. Its an ugly game and the dealership and staff perpetuate it. Its xxxxxxxx, it's unfair, and I'm tired of it. After I signed the paperwork, I was told I owed more money on the car because the dealership did the paperwork wrong. Because this wasn't my fault I asked that they forgive the small amount and they refused. I remarked that I had already agreed to pay far above the sticker price, which is paying far more than my car is actually worth. When I mentioned this to the employee on the phone, (not Doug, some other wicked xxxxxxx-ish man) he reacted in an angry, aggressive manner and told me I was a getting a good deal on my car. It was an extremely condescending way to talk to me, and I was upset about it. He was also yelling, which was not necessary. The yelling made it even more obvious that we all knew i wasn't getting a good deal. I had to go back to the dealership to re-sign the paperwork and pick up my car. I had to deal in person with the angry aggressive man I spoke to on the phone. I ended up getting completely screwed on my payments. I take responsibility for not negotiating the price better, but that was the most blatant display of corrupt, selfish and prejudiced behavior I have seen in a long time. I never want to go back to dealership again. Doug was actually pretty nice, but I could tell he knew he was not giving me a fair deal. When I came to pick up my car, his face was red and he seemed a bit afraid to approach me. In all it was a really bad experience that I will not repeat again. More
