AutoFair Honda

I was compelled to go to Honda Auto fair. Due to a emission problem light coming on. My Honda Pilot has a Fuel injector recall in the recall it states that if the emissions problem light come Due to a emission problem light coming on. My Honda Pilot has a Fuel injector recall in the recall it states that if the emissions problem light comes on bring it to a dealer. At the dealership I’m informed that it’s 225,00 to put it on a diagnostics test to see if the code is the one for my recall. So I’m stuck taking the chance that it’s not the recall. In this situation I feel like this should have been done for free even if the code was not for the recall. At the least taken off the overall bill if I had the unexpected service done there Because I can only go by what the car safety light shows me and what I’ve been advised by Honda to do. The problem ended up being a purge valve cost 75,00 parts. 600,00 labor for two hours of work. 225,00 for the diagnosis was considered labor. This my friends is outrageous. More
