Although Jon was very nice and polite, he didn't seem able to have the power or ability to actually help me with the service my car required. I had explained to them about the loud grinding noise I was h able to have the power or ability to actually help me with the service my car required. I had explained to them about the loud grinding noise I was hearing from the back tires even before they started to wear down and it may possibly be the bearings or a defective alignment when I bought the vehicle. They said they would do an inspection to find out what was causing the problem. I waited for 2 hours before I was finally told there was nothing they could find. They said they checked the bearings and they appeared tight and ok. I asked about the problem being that there was an alignment issue and was told they did not look at that and they felt it was the tires being worn down due to my not having the rotated the first year. I have brought my vehicle in for an inspection in August and which was many months after hearing that noise in the back and noone ever said the tires were wearing down and I should have the rotated or need a possible alignment?????!!! I asked them to switch out the tires and put on new ones and take the car for a road test just to rule out bad bearings being the issue. They made me wait another 1/2 hour to do this, we took the car for a road test and of course there was no noise as the tech explained that I needed new tires. Well I knew I needed new tires but I was there to find out why the tires were wearing down so fast. Both Jon and the Tech explained to me that the Goodyear Tires they use on their cars are soft and wear down quickly (the same that are on my car) and they have to change them on their own cards every 12,000 - 24,000 miles even though the tires claim to last 40,000 miles. Seems to me they should be putting on more quality tires on their new vehicles and or at least explaining to the customer that rotations every 5,000 miles are necessary since they use the cheap ones. They also said they use these tires for quiet and comfort sake (translation: so they can sell more cars). They did not offer my any discount on their tires nor anything else that might help me with this problem and let me leave their service dept. with the problem I came in there expecting to be rectified after waiting 3 1/2 hours! I told Jon I would prefer to buy my tires at Sam's Club due to the better service they offer me there. I would not recommend this dealership for service issues and, even though I was in the market to buy a new car for my daughter there in the next 4 months, I've decided it will be in our best interest to shop somewhere else. I was left with a post concussion syndrome, but the car saved me from further injury since it is so well engineered. On December 22, 2012, JR Belanger called me with the news that he had a car for me if I was interested. I still felt weak from the crash but was surprised by how helpful he was to me. He offered to meet me at the car rental place where I returned the loaner car from my insurance. JR let me test drive my new silver Honda Civic LX 2012. I drove back to the Auto Fair dealership with ease. I explained to JR that I did not want to go through a tedious process with the paperwork because I still was feeling the effects of the accident. JR assured me that the process would be easy and it was! Jr made sure that I understood how my car systems worked. He assisted me in getting the price I needed for the monthly payments. He gave me his phone number in order to reach him for any questions I might have or to set up appointments for car maintenance. The crash was traumatic, but not my leasing experience. I am a senior citizen who lives alone so this was most important to me. I give good service in my job. It is a most pleasant surprise to find such superior care and dedication exists in the car industry. JR Belanger is considered a friend, as well as, an exemplary business person. I hope to continue to deal with JR Belanger for years to come. Absolutely outstanding! More

When we arrived to pick up the car, it was ready on time and the additional features we had requested were in order . Alison LaNeve , our consultant was very helpful and worked diligently to answer all of our questions . We also appreciated her effort in demonstrating and helping us implement some of the features on the new auto , such as bluetooth, phone and radio settings along with a number of other " bells and whistles ".---Great job Alison ! We also met with Dave Flowers to sign the documentation that was required . He too was pleasant, helpful , answered our questions and explained the different forms in detail to make sure we understood what we were signing . Overall,a very satisfactory negotiation and we have little doubt that if our new CRV performs well, we'll be back to AutoFair Honda in three years to pick up our next new vehicle.
