The service team was very unprofessional. Failing to check the oil dipstick on a overheating engine. They told me it was just a air pocket in the coolant system over the phone. I was excited to tell my wife that everything was good. So I let the guy(Jake) go and set up a pick up time . But I remembered a few minutes later that I had a milky looking oil dipstick when I checked it the day before. I tried calling Honda back three times, leaving a voicemail explaining the milky oil symptoms I noticed. I never received a call back. When my wife showed up, She was met with the bad news of a inner cracked engine block. And not covered on recall but was a warranty 100,000 miles or ten years!? The whole reason for bringing it down there was the car was overheating and losing coolant. My local mechanic directed me to some videos on YouTube explaining how my engine would crack over time due to a Honda defect in the engine block. Jake was rude to my wife and never apologized for the miscommunications, blaming it on staffing issues. The lady at the reception desk was rude as well. Ignoring my wife when she showed up and had her stand there for about a minute without even looking up. My wife had to ask her for assistance. We know have a cracked 2008 Honda Civic cracked engine block. 111,000 miles. Just did a bunch of work on the brakes and exhaust. I'm very disappointed in Manchester NH Honda, and Jake is very unprofessional as well as the secretary. Do not go to this place. They also charged me a $170 diagnostics fee to tell me there engines crack over time that obviously isn't normal in any car but their I guess. It's unfortunate because I've always expressed how great Hondas shave been for me and my family. My wife has driven the 99 Accord which she had till about 235,000 miles. And was condemned only to the rust, which is normal for where I live. My parents owned two different Honda accords. Great Experience, not just the Sale, but throughout the whole process. Rodrigo Ojeda in Finance was great in working on the protection packages and again, was very Patient and was listening to my concerns and found a Package deal that I could afford to protect the car. and thank you to the management and support staff who made themselves available to assist me when Sean was tied up and could not get to the phone during the process. good customer service is dying breed these days, but that does not seem to be the Case at Autofair Honda, my experience thus far has been exceptional.
