Despite the craziness all around (there must have been 15-20 families looking for cars), the staff were all courteous and took care of EVERYONE - there was pizza and drinks for all customers. A colleague had advised me against going to another Honda dealership in the area, as she felt they were disrespectful and arrogant. And she was so right - Autofair was such a breath of fresh air. Liar. I bought a car through autofair Honda in November. The listing for the car specifically stated that it came with Bluetooth, and this was a feature ver I bought a car through autofair Honda in November. The listing for the car specifically stated that it came with Bluetooth, and this was a feature very important to me for safe driving. When I drove it away it wasn't working. I brought it back two days later and was told that because it was less than a week of buying the vehicle they would fix it free of charge. They brought the car into the garage and disconnected the module controlling the Bluetooth so that the alternator wouldn't brake (the alternator still broke less than three months later) and then they told me that they needed to buy another part to fix the Bluetooth. I left under the impression that they were ordering the part for me and that I would receive a call back soon to make another appointment. This was not the case - no one called me or would return my phone calls for more than a month. When I finally went in I was told they would no longer buy the part for me because it was too expensive. They offered me a free clip-on visor Bluetooth (I already had one and they don't work very well - they need to be charged and are very finicky and hard to hear on). I was utterly disappointed because they postponed fixing the problem until I was past the 30 day return policy - I lost the chance to pick a different car that had the features I really needed in a daily driver. I was fooled into being stuck with this car. After I received this news I tried desperately to reach the general sales manager (Andy Short) and was only able to leave him voicemails. Defeated, I wrote a few low reviews online explaining my experience. It was only after I did this that he reached out to me - he was not returning my phone calls, but calling to ask me to take the reviews down. He promised me that after I did this I could expect a phone call from the service department in order to schedule an installment of a device that was integrated into the car stereo and played sound out of the speakers. He promised me this was not a clip on Bluetooth device and reassured me multiple times that it would play through my speakers. He promised. It's been some time now, I removed the reviews, but I never received a call. I called to make an appointment and when I arrived no one knew my story. They told me I am only allowed a clip on Bluetooth device and asked me if I was going to pay for it myself. I'm one hundred percent appalled at not just the customer service I have received at autofair Honda in Manchester - but the common human decency I have not received. I have been lied to, conned, mislead and manipulated for months. I hope anyone who goes to this dealership in the future, especially young female buyers, make sure to get everything they are promised in writing, so that they don't end up in the position I am in now. More
