Title: Disappointed with Unfair Practices and Deceptive Tactics at Autofair Ford I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Autofair Ford, and I feel it is important to share my grievances regardin Tactics at Autofair Ford I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Autofair Ford, and I feel it is important to share my grievances regarding their unethical business practices. It is disheartening to see a dealership that should prioritize customer satisfaction resort to manipulative tactics and deceptive behavior. On June 28th, I received a car appraisal from the dealership next door, which coincidentally shares the same name as Autofair. The trade appraisal value provided was a respectable $25,330. However, when I visited Autofair Ford on July 2nd, I quickly realized they had a different agenda. To my surprise, they presented me with a monthly payment schedule, conveniently burying an $18,000 trade allowance within the document. This sly maneuver resulted in an astonishing difference of over $7,000 from the initial appraisal. To their dismay, I came prepared and presented them with the paperwork from the neighboring dealership. Suddenly, the value of my trade-in magically increased to $23,000, reducing the difference to $7,400 between my trade and the car was looking at. This sudden change in appraisal value clearly indicated that Autofair Ford was attempting to exploit customers by artificially manipulating trade-in prices. To add insult to injury, less than a week later, I noticed that the very same car I had considered purchasing from their lot had its price reduced by $1,000. Logically, the new price reduction should have lowered the difference to $6,400. I made a fair offer of $6,300 based on thorough research and market analysis, only to have it promptly rejected by Autofair Ford. This rejection, despite the reasonable nature of my offer, further demonstrates their lack of integrity. I would like to express my appreciation to the salesperson, Kem, who provided valuable assistance during my visit, as well as to Caredge for their guidance and market analysis information. Their support played a significant role in uncovering the deceitful practices employed by Autofair Ford. Ultimately, my disappointment goes beyond the monetary aspect; it revolves around the principles of honesty and fairness. As a customer, I expected to be treated with transparency and respect. Regrettably, Autofair Ford failed to meet these basic expectations. I strongly caution prospective car buyers against engaging with Autofair Ford. Their manipulative tactics and willingness to test customers' knowledge indicate a dealership more concerned with taking advantage of unsuspecting individuals than ensuring genuine customer satisfaction. I urge you to explore other alternatives where fairness and transparency are prioritized. Sincerely, Chris More

I was contacted by Sarah who btw did not present herself as an Appointment scheduler more as Sales and in our brief discussion I told her I had a check from my Credit Union for $55k and cash for the differe as an Appointment scheduler more as Sales and in our brief discussion I told her I had a check from my Credit Union for $55k and cash for the difference , I asked her if the vehicle was negotiable at all in which she said negotiations had to be done at the dealership and from her experience you guys try to accommodate and provide great service and I asked if there is any money off for Memorial Day or Veterans and she said you guys always have incentives of some sort. Now when I think back she pretty much said what was needed in order to get me there. Saturday morning 5/27 at 7am I flew to Boston with every intention of driving that vehicle back home I spent $500 on flights one way to come down w/ my husband then spent another $100 to rent a car from the Airport and then drove 52 mins to get to the dealership. Initially everything was going well I arrived to a group of salesmen standing outside like predators and Kem approached us we sat inside I explained I have everything needed to go home with this truck today another gentleman named Tom from finance greeted me who I also told I had a check from my credit union we talked about being veterans etc… and specifically told me you guys work with Navy Federal. Kem left went got us the vehicle and took us for a test drive which went well. Myself & my husband walked around the truck and found a broken running board and a few places w/ scuffs, scratching & small dent to exterior as well as deep cleaning or detailing would have to happen to the interior. So as we walked back in the dealership my intentions were to negotiate because none of those things were seen from the pictures online. Kem said the price wasn’t negotiable and that pretty much the truck was priced at the lowest it was going to go. While speaking to him another guy Mahir introduced himself to us said he was talking with Tom and that unfortunately we wouldn’t be able to take the truck home today because it’s the end of the month and something about accounting and the chk would take x amount of time to clear. In the mist of all of this I bring up Sarah and explained that she had all of this information before hand and then she got thrown under the bus now everything became her fault. He then came back after saying he was going to see what he could do and all he came back with was that he wanted to run my credit again and then submit an application for a bank to run my credit again which would drop me about 20 points so that for accounting purposes in case something didn’t pan out with my check from Navy Federal there was a back up. I’m far from stupid I have purchased and leased multiple vehicles with my last being a 750 BMW which was over $100k so I know how this goes and this was by far the worst experience I have had yet to date. Customer beware & check Yelp those reviews are about accurate. More
