Thank you for your review and feedback about your experience here. We feel terrible about what happened and we apologize for the inconvenience. This is not something that any of our customers should endure and we would obviously never intentionally leave you in our waiting area for that long. Our goal is to give you the highest quality service possible and fix your vehicle in a timely manner, which is why we gave you a free rental vehicle to use. Unfortunately, our technician doing the work thought you were still driving the rental and therefore was being intentionally meticulous with your vehicle. This was our mistake. Once we realized that you were actually in our waiting area, our Service Director Jeff approached you to apologize and attempt to resolve the issue. You would not give us the opportunity to make things right and insisted on getting your vehicle back, even after we advised you that it wasn't finished. Because Ford advises us on exactly how to handle all warranty repairs, sometimes this type of work can require more than one visit to the dealership. We totally understand why you were frustrated and we honestly just want the opportunity to make it up to you. Every attempt by me personally or by my staff to reach out to you since has resulted in you refusing to give us the opportunity to fix this. We are committed to making you happy, and we have shown through our review and customer testimonials that we will do whatever is necessary to make things right, so I urge you to please contact me directly if you decide you'd like us to resolve this. Thank you for your feedback about our service department. Reviews like this are vital to better serving our customers and we take them very seriously. I spoke with several members of my staff after reading your review and as you know, had a good discussion directly with you about where we went wrong. We did drop the ball in a few areas; the cause of most of the hassle being our supplier's failure to contact our service advisor to let him know that they didn't have your specialized tires in stock. This information would have allowed us to communicate to you that the wait would be longer than anticipated and arrange everything accordingly. There is absolutely no excuse for this. There are obviously sometimes going to be reasons why a vehicle might take longer than expected, but we're failing our customers if we don't update them 100% of the time. We are working on this process internally, and we will without a doubt do a better job in the future. We sincerely apologize for that. Nobody is perfect, but our ability to admit our mistakes and do what we can to make up for them is what sets us apart as a business that truly cares about its customers. Because we believe in this so strongly, I feel that there are a few things that you didn't mention in your review that our customers should be aware of. First of all, on the day of your ordeal, we realized how poorly everything was handled, so we tried to be proactive and resolve the issue. We discounted your bill, gave you a free tire, didn't charge you for some of the services performed, and in all saved you almost $200. Also, our service advisor put your old tire in your vehicle because you had said that you wanted to use it as an extra tire (a conversation you admitted to having forgotten about when the two of us spoke). His sole intention was to give you above average customer service. We stand by our commitment to every customer's complete satisfaction and are willing to do what it takes to ensure it. Again, I apologize that you didn't have a good experience. We take pride in the job we do and there's no excuse for poor communication. We have all of our customer's best interests at heart, and we're truly sorry that we caused you this much frustration. Hopefully, you’ll take my word that we really do use this information to get better, and in the future you’ll give us an opportunity to show you just how much we can improve. There is definitely a reason why our service department was originally so highly recommended to you. Please contact me directly if you need anything in the future.
