Awesome service I took my Ford in as a piece of the plastic from the windshield flew off on the highway. Jason took care of me and went above and beyond. The cause of I took my Ford in as a piece of the plastic from the windshield flew off on the highway. Jason took care of me and went above and beyond. The cause of the problem was having my a new windshield put in from a windshield company that my insurance had me go through. They broke a piece of plastic and glued it back on not telling me. Jason handled it all for me dealing with the gentlemen at the company . Great experience. More

I Had my F-150 in for a rattle I discovered that seemed to be coming from the driver's side undercarriage. By the way, I did not have an appointment. I just drove in hoping they could take a quick look, as it was concerning me. I have been an Autofair Customer for about 4 years. I worked with my Service Adviser, Jerome Bouchard, who always takes great care of me. Never tries to sell me something I don't need. I feel I can trust him.and I highly recommend him! My first thought was perhaps a loosened clamp, exhaust hanger or heat shield. Jerome arranged to have it taken right in for diagnosis.. Turns out there was a shim in the brake pad assembly that loosened and was missing (probably when I hit one of our typical New England pot holes). The part was not something available by itself. It comes in a brake pad kit. I was told they were searching for the part alone but may need to purchase a kit. Bottom line, the tech found one of the shims in the shop, installed it, and I was only charged for 3/4 hours of labor with no charge for the part. That's what I call service! Jerome and the Autofair Service Team came through again! Thanks! More

I also wanted them to tell me why the my check engine light was on. Chris was my service advisor. They diagnosed the problem right away. This was on a Monday. On Wednesday night, my car stalled. I tried to start it and it wouldn't stay running. I had my car towed to Manchester since I had just had service 2 days prior. Chris csllede around 10 am, the next morning and told me my car was fixed and I could pick it up. He told me that there was no charge since the technician couldn't day for certain if he had caused the problem. I was very happy that Chris was my advisor. He is the reason for the 5 star rating. Chris is excellent. In my opinion, he is the best advisor that you have. Thank you Chris! More

I had not been bringing my 2010 Fusion Hybrid for service at AutoFair for the las four or five years because I had been up satisfied with the service. However, when the battery went, I felt it was best to go back. I made an appointment for 6 pm earlier in the day, but brought the car in around 4:00. Chris dealt with the car almost immediately. I was really pleased! I was finished before 6:00! Thank you! More
SAVE YOURSELF My Wife and I purchased a brand new 2018 ford focus from Autofair ford in Manchester. Our experience to say the least was outright terrible. We purc My Wife and I purchased a brand new 2018 ford focus from Autofair ford in Manchester. Our experience to say the least was outright terrible. We purchased the car off the lot with 8 miles. Before leaving I noticed a scratch the length of the bumper. They were not able to fix it that night so we made an appointment to get it resolved which was great. The next morning I noticed condensation in the headlight and called to get this fix when the scratch was going to be cleared up. When we brought the car down for the appointment, no one knew anything about out appointment or knew that we were coming. We had to reestablish everything that was needed. We live about an hour and 15 minutes from the dealership so ever trip is not quick. The car was in the shop for over a week and the communication was terrible. When we went to get in our rental car we were told would be there to leave and go home, nothing was set up or even planned out. No one at the dealership knew so we had to wait, get a ride to the car rental. Ford insisted that it be a ford vehicle so we had to wait for one to be detailed because nothing was readily available. After waiting for this whole process we were given a vehicle that got stuck on our flat drive way due to terrible tires, so we never drove the rental. All this time never receiving calls or updates only time we would hear anything was when we would call. We finally got the car back, but not to our surprise, the head light was never addressed. After much of a run around we made a plan to get that replaced. In the mean time we went to register the car realizing that we were never given the correct paper work to get this done, and when confronted by us the dealership accused us of losing it, and when we find the old one to return the copy to them. All the while being yelled and spoken down to constantly by overly aggressive “general managers” and managing staff. The last time going down for these sets of issues we were confronted by the general manager about a survey that I had received so many of asking performance of their dealership all while I didn’t even have my brand new car I was paying for. The manager said that the survey meant a lot and “we didn’t want to get anyone fired” so they bribed my wife and myself to either give good scores across the board, or just ignore the survey for a ford factory accessory. At this point I was so offended that they tried to bribe me and keep my terrible experience quiet that I didn’t take their bribe. I wanted nothing else to do with this business. Until the rattle started. The car had 3500 miles on it with a loud rattle from the under side. We brought it to the dealership to get fixed and checked up, told it would take a day. The next day I hear nothing so once again any communication you want is going to have to be initiated from the customer. The dealership will not contact you. They could not find the cause so the car was in the body shop for a week. Now here goes another great rental car experience. We purchased a ford focus because we wanted fuel economy, we both drive a lot. Once we finally went through xxxx to get a rental car that we didn’t have to drive over an hour to get, once again had to be a ford so we were stuck paying 13mpg gas in a ford expedition, because that was the only ford at the rental. After a week of being in the shop we go to get the car back. My wife gets in her car, starts it and the needle is below E with 14 miles left till empty, certainly NOT how it was left. 15 minutes into drive the rattle is back twice as loud. On inspection the next morning we were missing a plastic latch for the hatch cover, a tear in a rear head rest, and a couple doors do not close correctly, they are out of alignment so you need to slam it to get it to latch. At this point we do not know what to do and are at a loss. We are trying to bring it to other dealerships yet when they hear it was from autofair they have extreme hesitation dealing with their mistakes in the past and require a full print out of everything autofair has touched on the car. When I called to get this print out I got verbally berated by the GM once again, somehow this was all my fault because I did not contact him when I was bringing it down to get service. I did not know I was expected to contact the managers when I’m getting my car fixed. All in All we still are under this curse and are looking at any way out from this car. We would buy the same exact car again, just from another dealership. Customer service is not only lacking but downright non existent. More

Scam Artist Service Department - Unnecessary Work I will never step foot in this establishment again. We have purchased 4 vehicles through this dealership and still have free oil changes, yet I will never allow their service department to touch my vehicle again. I brought my F-150 in for an oil change and it’s state inspection. I had expected to possibly find that’s there was work needed, but was not prepared for the outrageous price and blatant lie they fed to me. After an hour, I was told I needed front brake pad and rotors as well as both of my front lower ball joints replaced. For starters, $1420 is an astronomical quote for that work. I immediately requested my vehicle and told her they would not be doing the work. I stated I would find a much cheaper quote without having to try at it. She told me they tried to be competitive and if I found a cheaper quote with the same parts I could bring it to her attention. I told her I wasn’t interested because their rates weren’t competitive at all. I then find my truck parked out front with no key, and had to come back and track them down. I was hesitant to accept their claim as far as work needed, since they did not provide any specs on the play in my ball joints. I decided to immediately take it to another certified shop. I could not believe my ears when they told me that my ball joints were fine. I did in fact need new rotors though. My pads were still passing, but it is common sense to replace them when you do rotors. They showed me the specs and allowed tolerances and showed me why they passed. Autofair tried to charge me $675 plus $40 for “haz mat & shop supplies” to do this unnecessary work. One of my ball joints had no play at all, while the other had minimal movement and was within specs. So, ultimately, I saved myself approximately $1170 by having a second opinion and doing the front brakes and rotors myself. I will also have the other shop write down tolerances and specs of my ball joints as proof that I was lied to by Autofair Ford service. I attempted to speak to the shop manager after speaking with the operator and was directed to a voicemail. After several other messages regarding vehicle concerns in the past with no returned calls, I decided not to leave another voicemail and waste my breath. The sales department has been wonderful minus one associate, but their service department has broken my trust and I will not shop here anymore. I will head to another Ford dealer. More

$129 to just plug in a computer I get that you don't always know exactly how to fix issues and some diagnostics are needed. Seems excessive to charge $129 to have the OBD plugged in I get that you don't always know exactly how to fix issues and some diagnostics are needed. Seems excessive to charge $129 to have the OBD plugged in for a few minute (tells you exactly how many minutes it ran for on the report). The report shows a couple codes pinpointing the issue - then the dealer says "gonna need another $400-$500 worth of work to see if we might be able to fix this". Sorry Autofair - we are done. Charge me for your time fairly and I may have accepted your incompetance in servicing Fords at Autofair Ford. $129 for running a computer diagonstic program for less than 20 minutes (while you likely are doing something else) just doesn't seem right. Shop rate $115 hr, so maybe $58 total OK. $129 Buyer beware. BTW - don't call your female customers "sweetie" either. Its 2018 More
