Hi Greg, We dropped the ball here, and we're devastated we upset a long time customer. The tool on our website isn't a "guaranteed offer", it is simply a tool used to give our customers a price RANGE on what their vehicle is worth. It should've been in the disclaimer for the offer you received. Our staff dropped the ball and did not clearly explain that before you drove out 45 minutes. This has been sent to everyone in Executive Management to discuss and use as a learning experience. We are very sorry, and we hope you re-consider in the future. All vehicle and financing details and terms are clearly presented and reviewed prior to taking delivery of a vehicle and all efforts are made to address and clarify any questions or concerns that may arise. Our Lifetime Powertrain Warranty is free, and has nothing to do with the extended warranty that was purchased by the customer. We would not send a "fake" email as that is against the law, and we sell thousands of cars per year and this is a common practice. We feel there is a communication lapse between you and the warranty company, we'd like to help. Please e-mail mgmt@autocentersnissan.com - this goes to our General Manager.
