Auto Showcase alters VIN numbers on documents I purchased a 2011 Cadillac ESV from this place. I drove all the way from Clinton, MD to Fallston to buy it. I asked for the Carfax report. Keith "Kin I purchased a 2011 Cadillac ESV from this place. I drove all the way from Clinton, MD to Fallston to buy it. I asked for the Carfax report. Keith "King" Bagwell showed me the Carfax report, which showed no accidents. I drove it home and when brakes were applied on the highway, the vehicle jumped lanes, and the brakes made a very strong burning smell. Because it was after hours, I sent Keith a text explaining the symptoms. The next day (Sunday) I decided to look at my paperwork, and noticed that Keith removed the Carfax report from my folder. I went to my truck to look up the VIN information, and found that the truck was a rental that was in a major collision. But I remembered the Carfax stating that it was privately owned. I sent Keith a text explaining that he lied about the history of the vehicle, and that I would be returning it on Monday. He responded by saying that they don't use Carfax reports...despite showing me the Carfax report. He then informed me that they had other SUV's coming in that week. And told me to drive it until something came in. I asked for the Carfax report, and Keith gave me the report that he removed from my paperwork folder. They put me in other SUV's for nearly 3 months, of which ALL had MAJOR problems that prevented me from taking them. Brent S. White (finance dept) gave me a warranty for the vehicle that I purchased. But I noticed him making changes to the paperwork. After General Motors refused to honor the warranty due to Auto Showcase using after market parts and installing some sort of "bypass." At this point, I went through all of my paperwork and realized that Auto Showcase gave me the Carfax report of a vehicle matching the description of my vehicle. But the VIN numbers didn't match! I looked at the warranty and noticed the area that Brent was writing on, was actually where he crossed out the VIN number of a 3rd vehicle matching the description of my vehicle. And he then hand printed the VIN of my truck above it! After much back and forth calling to Auto Showcase, the owner refused to resolve the issue. I then informed him, through management that his refusal would mean that I would have to seek legal representation. He didn't care. So I contacted the FTC, BBB, FBI internet Crimes Division, MVA Fraud Division, and the Office of the Maryland Attorney General. Officially, Auto Showcase informed at least one of these entities that they weren't interested in resolving this problem. Despite my having physical proof that they used a false Carfax report to misrepresent the vehicle that I was sold. And the 3rd VIN on the warranty. In fact, there are close to over 6,000 miles difference from the warranty and the odometer release form. I am now retaining a law firm, and will file both civil and criminal charges against all individuals that knowingly defrauded me, and Auto Showcase as a whole! More

A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE A VERY BAD SURPRISE THESE ARE FACTS AD NOT OPINIONS: October 17, 2018: I see a very nice Maserati Quattroporte on CarGuru.com, price $49,997.00; A VERY BAD SURPRISE THESE ARE FACTS AD NOT OPINIONS: October 17, 2018: I see a very nice Maserati Quattroporte on CarGuru.com, price $49,997.00; I walk into the showroom with the CarGuru ad loaded on my iPhone, the car is in the middle of the showroom and is spectacular, they volunteer the price at $54,997.00. I show the ad and the saleswoman, Cherry, acts surprised then upon seeing the ad we agree that the $49,997.00 is the correct price (Kelly Blue Book lists at $42,000-$48,000 with average of $46,000). They look at my 2013 Mercedes S550 and offer $25,000, which is KBB price. I tell Cherry that I need at least $30,000 for my car and she agrees immediately, which made me suspicious but happy. NOW, HERE COME THE FEES. 1. Maryland State Inspection = $1670.00 (Average cost $80) 2. Dealer Preparation Fee = $675 ( Average in MD $300) Cherry and I finally agreed to $20,000 + my trade, remove the bogus $1,670 for the StateInspection, which is usually paid for by the dealer. 3. We agree to meet on October 19, 2018 at 4pm to finalize the deal and take delivery of the Maserati. On October 18,2018 Cherry call me at work 3 times to make sure I am still coming and confirms that the deal we made is the same; I call my insurance and get the Maserati added to my policy. I ask Cherry to get the car out of the showroom for a test drive prior to signing any documents. At 4:30 pm Cherry shows me the sales contract, which comes with a few surprises: 1. Sale Price went up to $53,997 = $4,000 higher than the CarGuru ad 2. Trade Value went down to $23,500 = $6,500 lower than 2 days before. I remind Cherry of our deal and she looks at the paperwork from two days ago and says that nothing has changed (except they want $10,500 more than what we agreed upon). I still have not test driven the car yet, and I am told that I will not be able to until I agree to the new price in writing. Ultimately I leave without Maserati and with a Burning desire in my heart. IN SUMMARY: They lied from the moment I got in to the moment I left (without a car) The Next morning I go the Criswell Maserati and buy a brand new Quattoporte GTS, my trade was valued at $30,000.00.
