BEST FORD DEALERSHIP!!! My husband and I are from Northeast Ohio and were on our way to Sturgis, South Dakota for a 2-years-in-the-planning vacation. We had problems with our My husband and I are from Northeast Ohio and were on our way to Sturgis, South Dakota for a 2-years-in-the-planning vacation. We had problems with our transmission, and we went to Auto Park Ford in Sturgis, Michigan (yes, I said "Sturgis!") to see if they could help us. They IMMEDIATELY put our truck on a lift, and unfortunately found out that our transmission was cracked and totalled. Our hearts plummeted, and I thought that our vacation was over before it even started. Well, the only option that we had, if we wanted to salvage our vacation, was to buy a vehicle; so, we sat down in the sales office. In less than 3 hours, we were on our way to South Dakota in a beautiful, brand new Ford F-150! These people at this dealership, from the service personnel to the sales employees, were the nicest and most understanding people we have ever met! They treated us with the utmost respect and worked extremely fast to get us on the road again. All of our questions were answered... All of our needs were met. We can't thank this group of people enough... They deserve the highest form of praise for what they did for us! I want to mention some of the people that went out of their way to help us in our time of need. Thank you so much to Rick Kobold, Moe Reeves, Kristol Flowers, and Andrew Eger. I apologize if anyone was left out.... Just know that the employees at this dealership deserve extra-special recognition, as they made it their mission to turn a dire circumstance into a wonderful experience! Going places with our new baby, stroller, and dog left very little room in the cabin. She officially needed her "mom car" and I wasn't about to park a minivan in our garage. So I was put to the task of finding a Ford Flex because we both really like it's boxy style and three rows of seats. I'm a car guy and rather picky, and I wanted all the best features a Flex offers, so I was only looking for the "Limited" package. My wife wanted the panoramic sunroofs. We also really liked the two tone white/black exteriors and was pretty much exclusively looking for one like that. Fast forward to a month or two of searching; the only one that met our criteria in that time was just over 300 miles away. I had just purchased a car in Florida (we live in Pittsburgh, PA area) so I knew buying a car long distance could be done, but I also didn't have a great experience buying my car, as it took almost two months all said and done. However, I was willing to give it a go with these guys and I couldn't be happier that I did. From start to finish Moe and Matt communicated back and forth with me via email and were always quick to respond. They gave us what we were looking to get for my wife's Subaru and made the whole transaction super smooth. The deal was sealed in about three weeks time. Paperwork was all taken care of via email and snail mail, so I literally just had to show up and pick up the Flex. I made the trip to Michigan early this past Saturday morning, 5AM. Arrived at the dealership around 10AM and finally got to meet Matt and Moe in person. They were both great to chat with. Matt took the time to walk me through the Flex's many features and discuss some more paperwork, then I was back on the road home within the hour. It made for a long Saturday, but well worth the drive. Like I said, I'm picky, so when I find the perfect car for the best price I don't mind traveling for it. After all...we're going to have this vehicle for many years to come, so I feel it's worth the time investment to get the right one. Anyway, my wife is happy and now we have a vehicle that will comfortably fit our new baby, his gear, and our dog. And it's got plenty of room to spare as our family grows. Long distance relationships rarely last or work out, but this one was a breeze. More
