Fast, Efficient, Friendly I took my 2016 car in for a routine oil change. While I appreciate thoroughness, I was approached in the waiting room and was given suggestions of 4 I took my 2016 car in for a routine oil change. While I appreciate thoroughness, I was approached in the waiting room and was given suggestions of 4 additional services that should be done on my 2 year old car. This is a bit frustrating since I don’t know if these are services the technician found that the car “needs” ~ or are they services that Ford ”recommends” but nothing serious that needs to be done right now. I have taken the car in several times for routine maintenance because we want to support the local community, but every time, I am approached about additional services! Please just do the service requested, and if additional service is obviously needed, let me know at that time. It comes across as a money-making sell job. More
Not straight forward I took a truck in that I had purchased in July because it was running rough. They said soething chewed through some wires so it is not warranty covered. I don’t know when wires were chewed, so I said to go ahead and fix it (not a problem). I was then told that my air filter was extremely dirty, and it needed replaced. I said that I had recently bought the truck so it had to be dirty when they sold it to me and I think they should cover it. When I picked the vehicle up, it didn’t mention anything about the air filter, so I asked. I was told that they blew it out with the air hose, so “everything is good to go now”. They were certainly more than ready to charge me for something that needs to be replaced, but when the onus is on them, it can be fixed with a little air. It did not give me any level of trust to return. More
