We purchased a used minivan from Auto Park in Bremen. Overall, our experience was good. Staff was kind, helpful and responsive. Only two complaints. Our used vehicle was very dirty on the inside. It had been vacuumed, but the carpet, seats and storage compartments were still quite dirty and sticky. After the deal was done they did clean most of that up and detailed the interior, but still not to my wife's standards. 2nd complaint is that they added a Pulse safety system to the vehicle and we knew nothing about it until we sat down to negotiate the price and saw they added a line item for it in addition to the advertised price for $399. All this system does is make the 3rd middle brake light flash 4 times when the brakes are depressed instead of come on solid. That's it. I live in a rural setting and it is useless to me. In my humble opinion it is a complete gimmick. Online I think you can buy this system for $20 and their sheet said they had 0.8 hours in labor installing it. To me, this is an accessory that they should offer as an add on after the sale. Or, if they want to preinstall it on the vehicle, it should already be included in the price. We drove 7 hours to buy this vehicle because it had the features we wanted at a competitive price. I don't like surprises, and after driving all that way and not finding out until the very end that the vehicle is $399 more than advertised, I felt insulted. Luckily, they did ultimately work with me on the Pulse system and removed the charge, but I still am unhappy with the dishonest business practice of a surprise charge at the very end. More
