First off, let me say I am not typically in the habit of leaving reviews for anything, good or bad. I was looking for a specific vehicle via a popular online auto marketplace, and Auto Lenders of Palm Harbo leaving reviews for anything, good or bad. I was looking for a specific vehicle via a popular online auto marketplace, and Auto Lenders of Palm Harbor happened to have a similar vehicle on their lot. I had never heard of them before and honestly had no real intention on buying this vehicle here. Upon arriving at the dealership, I noticed that all the vehicles and the building itself were in immaculate condition. It is a repurposed large Honda dealership and the space is large, comfortable and inviting. I was able to look around the lot (the vehicle I was looking for was right up front) without being bothered, which I really appreciated. There were many positive and atypical experiences versus every other dealership experience I’ve had in the past. I was greeted immediately upon entering the building by friendly sales staff. I was surprised to be allowed to test drive the vehicle without sales staff coming along. I was even offered the opportunity to take it home to show the family and just basically “to bring it back by closing time”. This was a fantastic chance to really experience the vehicle. I looking for a later model car with low mileage and while close, this wasn’t exactly the perfect car. It looked brand new, being a used car and my customer service rep Eddie Colon handled me very well. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles there, kind and knew just what I wanted based on our conversation. The dreaded manager “meet and greet” was another unbelievably pleasant surprise. Matt Carlin was hospitable, asked if there was anything he could do and wished me the best when I said I had another couple vehicles to check out. I walked out happily and appreciated the no pressure, great customer service. I never actually visited either of the other cars I planned on seeing that day. I brought my spouse back to view/test drive this vehicle again. I made an offer, and Mr. Colon relayed Mr. Carlin asked one question, I assume to gauge my sincerity, and shook my hand saying we had a deal. No multiple visits, no back and forth, no nonsense. The process was smooth and painless and overall a great experience. I believe that Auto Lenders has modeled their business as a smaller Carmax type experience. Good quality cars, with simple and no pressure sales. I will end this review by saying that I typically buy most of my vehicles from private party sales because I loathe the dealership experience. Auto Lenders was different and I will absolutely look to them in the future. More
