There are a lot of dealers on that particular site. I love the site, but buyer beware - go physically check the sellers out - at least do a "drive buy." Chad (part of the father-son team of Bob/Chad @ Auto Direct) was frank with me from the get-go - they don't deviate from their advertised price; The price they advertise online was the price you pay - take it or leave it (politely). That's OK, the price - for a 1999 Nissan Pathfinder SE, V6, auto, loaded (leather, 4WD & Bose) in my case - was fair, at just about market price as I researched it. My plan was to find 10 vehicles that I liked, narrow it down by price and geography to seven and then test drive five. I found three I was ready to buy and then I actually decided to go with the Pathfinder at Auto Direct because I appreciated the attention to detail and no-nonsense approach they take there. This dealer is amazing! There was no pressure and they didnt try to push cars i wasn't interested in. They worked with my on my payment, and they even made sure the car had a new battery in it. I have never bought a used car before and was a bit leery as the car lot is on a side street. But, looks are deceiving! From my first contact (which was via email) through to the purchase of my car, the whole experience couldn't have been better than dealing with a life long friend. When I visited the lot for the first time and gave my name, it was as though they had known me (how was I?, Will be with you in a moment., Let me see what I can do for you....). As I said, I had the price from AutoTrader (which they honored) but I also had financing available, Doug said that he might me able to get me a better interest rate through his contacts...and, he did! By 4%. The whole process was seamless and quite easy. I'm sure that I will refer anyone interested in a car to them. And, when I'm ready for my next purchase, I will definitely go back to them. The search for a used car is not one that most folks look forward to for various reasons (i.e. fear of buying a lemon, getting talked into purchasing something you didn't want, feeling taken advantage of, feeling harassed/bombarded/fast-talked, feeling like the salesperson would talk you out of house and home if they could). I can go on and on..but I digress.. Add the fact that I am on the market for a used car for my child and the seriousness of the matter becomes immeasurable. Not only was I searching for a good deal, but the safety and reliability of the car was paramount. Good luck with that search you might say.. well, I found all of that and much more AUTO DIRECT CARS, LLC. I saw a car of interest (Honda Accord EX Coupe)on their website, called to see if the car was still available, and Bob (the owner) told me to come on in. This dealership was the third stop I made that day and it was still in the AM by the time I got there. As promised, the car was on the lot, Bob walked out, introduced himself, gave me the car keys, and walked away so that my husband and I could inspect without the hovering effect. We asked to test drive & Bob joined us on our test drive. We were interested in the car but a little hesitant primarily because the inspection report on the car was unavailable as the mechanic shop was closed. Other than Bob’s words that he believed the car to be in good shape, we had no way of knowing what “hidden problems” came with the car. Bob was so confident that the car did not have any major safety issues that he promised that if we purchased the car, took it to our mechanic, and later found any major safety issues, that they would rectify the situation. Not getting a used car checked out by my mechanic prior to purchase was typically a deal breaker for me. My husband, who is generally a good judge of character and not always trusting, told me that he trusted that Bob would take care of any major problems as promised. Strange enough, I felt the same security in Bob’s words, and so we purchased the vehicle. From the moment we stepped on the lot to the purchase of the car, we received personalized attention. Would I recommend AUTO DIRECT CARS, LLC to my closest family and friends…. WITHOUT A DOUBT!!! I experienced true customer serve and customer appreciation…something that is so rare in this industry.
