In response to your response. It's obvious that you did not clearly read it through. Again, when I called Auto Country regarding the Land Rover The salesperson told me that it was available and up on the front line "FOR SALE" and to come down to see it. Drove 35 min., to get there. I am not going to waste anymore of my time responding to bold faced lies. Everything in your response it fabricated and exaggerated.

Stephanie, Again in response, You know for a "fact" that i was treated fairly is does not surprise me. The proof is in your ratings. Your statements are so off, you were not even there any of the times I dealt with anyone there. You obviously do not know anything about the situation besides here say from your co workers. If you knew the continuous efforts made on my end for simple communication than i do not think you would be putting yourself in a situation you clearly know nothing about. I was not rude to you as you state, I simply was upset, not at you, about the way i was being treated. I also expressed to that all Dan had to do is just give me a call back so I did not have to keep calling him back day after day. I did tell you that if I did not hear back from Dan by Fri., @ 5 I would be cancelling the deal. I call 1 more time on fri., night after Dan not calling back, Sat., I called to talk with Dan or Dwayne and got the same response, they were not available, I then explained I was cancelling the deal and then you put Mike on the phone. My interpretation is the reality and I understand that being unprofessional is not something the dealership is going to proudly admit. Your ratings so clearly reflect that. Reading your responses about different situations shows how little you know or justify there behavior. Dan did know about the car and i never said I was coming down to see the Land Rover, was just inquiring. When I got there Dan was there, no one ever said to Dan, "no it;s not available". He flat out told me it was junk. So just stop the round and round. All the xx I went through with Auto Country and 1 week off " The bank situation" and my "credit" was just pure laziness and disrespect. I got financing and drove away in the SUV in wanted within 3 days at a dealership that knew customer service and how to handle there customers. Please do not contact me again. This was a lesson learned. When you shop the bottom, you get the bottom.

Dear Todd, I am glad that we were able to speak and get to the bottom of the issue. I know that you found out that a leak in your windshield from a windshield crack was causing water damage to the electrical system. Hence, this issue happened when it was raining. Luckily, you are a mechanic and came to this conclusion. We appreciate your business and hope that if you need help in the future you will feel free to give us a call at the dealership so we could set up an appointment for you with our mechanic. As always we will give you the best rate possible, although you probably do not need this help since you are a mechanic. As you knew when you purchased the Excursion, it was not covered under a warranty other than the MA Lemon Law because of the mileage. As you decided not to buy an extended warranty and it is now a full year later since you bought the vehicle you are responsible for repairs. Regardless of this we are still more than happy to help and as you know the lines of communication are always open! Thank you for your patience with this matter and I am happy that we were able to connect.

Dear Megan, We are so happy we were able to get you on your way in your new Jeep. We appreciate your business. I know we went above and beyond with our customer service considering you were approved before you even had to come to the dealership to see the vehicle. When you got here all you had to do was sign paper work and be on your way. Not to mention you had no ride to the dealership and we drove you around, and also helped you set up insurance. We also drove you back and forth to your insurance company because you had no ride. That is excellent customer service. We helped you and we were open to your concerns considering picking up the vehicle. I understand how eager you must have been to pick your car. I am glad we got everything ironed out. I hope you are happy with your Jeep and please don't hesitate to reach out in the future with anything at all.

Dear Chuck and Liz, We participate in the Dealer Rater program in hopes to keep our customers satisfied and communicate with our clients in hopes to resolve issues. So in an effort to make good considering you are still unhappy we would like to go over a few facts. There is no way that we could control you bringing us a van with a bad transmission - you were able to either take the trade out of the deal or drive it back to NY with a bad transmission. You were notified before electing to go back to NY that the value of the van would change substantially if we had to replace the transmission. The plow was working here and you said on the telephone the plow went up once and stopped working—further evidence that it did work here. The complaint states that you took it to “your guy,” spent $300 and it still wasn’t fixed. When we spoke you expressed no distaste with bringing it to our repair person, so it was brought to us for repair. We were certainly not obligated to fix the plow—not by Massachusetts State Law, as it is a commercial vehicle—but instead, we took the truck and handled it. We brought it to a plow repair person in the area with a stellar reputation, who in essence, picked up the pieces of the butcher job that was done in NY—the piston was not attached, the lights were dismantled, ect.. So, the nine hundred dollars that WE PAID out of OUR pockets to fix your COMMERCIAL plow, we did in GOOD FAITH—as we do with all of our customers. We were never notified of a problem with the pumpkin or your need to spend the money on getting it fixed. The body shop that quoted the one thousand dollars to fix the body at the customer’s request had no issue with fixing his work for NO CHARGE, even though his quote was to repair not replace, he stepped up and bought the parts to REPLACE the body panels. When you dropped your vehicle for the plow and body shop you mentioned that your mechanic said the wiring to the ’02 sensor was too close to the exhaust, so at NO charge to you, we had the wiring re-routed. That is what you asked for. We assume the plow that we paid to repair and the 02 sensor, along with the body work are okay as we have not heard from you since the day you took it back. The condition of the plow lights are as they were when we fixed the plow. Your mechanic, or whomever it was that charged you $300 to fix the plow, dismantled them and charged you, but never put them back together. Lastly, if the plow works, the “piece of junk remote” must be okay. To the best of my knowledge, according to my sales staff, you worked the plow before leaving our lot. Furthermore, our salesperson had to listen to an earful of profanity that was directed toward who knows who in front of your wife and child over lights that were already dismantled when the truck got here! Perhaps you might have wanted to buy a brand new plow truck if you weren’t looking to have a few hiccups with your used vehicle. Used car sales is NOT a perfect science, but fortunately, you did come to a reputable dealer who stands behind our product and we were willing to work with you. I believe things might have been A LOT different at many other used dealerships. If you would like, we can buy the truck back from you in good faith. Please let us know what you would like us to do. Thank you, Dwayne Crosby General Manager Auto Country Inc.

We did reach out to the client privately. It is disheartening to us that after all the work that Dwayne did to help with his car issues, he is still unsatisfied. We always release any and all reports to our clients when asked. If the gentleman is referring to an Auto Check report on the vehicle, we provide them for free on our website, as well as in every file folder for every vehicle. We also provide repair order reports for any client who is interested in seeing them on their vehicle. We are a small, family owned dealership that has been at the same location in Abington for 20 years. We have nothing to hide and always go above and beyond to do whatever we can for our clients to make the sales process as comfortable as possible. As I said in my private response, I apologize if our sales professional was ignoring you when you stepped into the dealership. We do appreciate constructive criticism and will see this review as an opportunity to be sure all of our sales people are acting professionally.
