Auto Country DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES - UNETHICAL I searched for the vehicle I wanted and was very specific that I needed an SUV and wanted it to be white. I have voice mails and text messages te prove the unethical actions that took place.. I am a grandmother and wanted a safe vehicle to drive with her. I put 1/3 down so I would have a small and short loan. The safety problems began 5 weeks after I made the 1st payment and I was told to purchase the parts and I would get a discount on the labor. The mechanic was so nice but unfortunately he has to do what Dwayne the GM tells him and Dwayne can't make a move without the owner Michael Fagans authorization.. The owner refuses to call back any clients and he sits up in his office and make Dwayne do all his dirty work. My health problems have gotten worse due to cancelling appointments because of no transportation. The car won't pass an inspection right now and I can't drive it because of the extremely deafening noise that is coming from under the drivers side I already have had to fix 6 safety problems and now the drivers side door won't close also. I have dealt with Dwayne when the 1st problem happened and have left messages 1-2 x a month and have date time and who I spoke to. The worst call was the owner who swore at me, tried to degrade me and finally hung up on me. I didn't know it was the owner at the time but have since found out. I am gathering names of other unhappy clients and if my situation isn't resolved all the stories are going to be exposed and not only online. I am only asking for what I deserve. There are local businesses that are willing to back me up as well but I am not looking to be hateful I just want my vehicle to be safe and I am able to drive. I had Brain Surgery for Trigeminal Neuralgia and I can't tolerate the deafening noise and the stress of all this is contributing to my MS attacks (Multiple Sclerosis). I will keep you informed if Auto Country's owner has a heart and handles my situation. There are so many people that have offered to picket and allow me to tell their stories but I have tried unsuccessfully to get Dwayne or Michael to return my calls and now I am posted my complaints and if nothing is done then I will flood the sites with other customers names and stories. If they do the right thing and take care of my situation then I will remove my complaints. This is my story and it needed to be told. .2x the idler Pulley broke, the alternator dropped and the Serpentine Belt came off while I was in the left lane on the highway and could of been killed cause the car made a huge noise I thought I was struck by a rock and the car wouldn't move and my girlfriend had to hang out the window and flag cars to allow me to coast to the breakdown lane. The 2nd time the same thing happened and it was on Thanksgiving and we had to have the car towed from Cambridge and pay $156. Talk about ruining our holiday. That is only 2 of many safety problems. DO NOT EVER EVER EVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALER!!!!!! Bought a used vehicle from this dealer and have had NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS AND BROKEN PROMISES WITH IT SINCE THE NIGHT I BROUGHT IT HOME. Have contacted the dealer MULTIPLE times and had to BRING THE CAR BACK REPEATEDLY only to then pick it back up with the problems having NOT BEEN FIXED!!!!! EVERY TIME they tell US they have fixed said problems and every time the problem has NOT BEEN FIXED. The buying experience itself was OK-every thing AFTER THE PURCHASE HAS BEEN AWFUL. They sell cars that FAIL INSPECTION and then will not FIX THE PROBLEMS when you bring it to them. They DO NOT WORK WITH YOU as they claim they will. Everyone there gives an attitude when you bring it back and talk to them on the phone before they eventually stop returning your calls completely and hang up on you when you try and get the problem RESOLVED. Bought in April 2017 and now the car is @ the auto body AGAIN for COSTLY REPAIRS I HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR-OVER $800.00 FOR THIS VISIT ALONE AND IT WILL HAVE TO GO BACK FOR MORE REPAIRS LATER that the dealer REFUSED TO PAY FOR OR FIX!!!!!!!! THEY DO NOT HONOR LEMON LAW-OR ANY OTHER LAW REQUIREMENTS AND ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO DEAL WITH. If you have the need to buy a vehicle do NOT BUY ONE HERE I PROMISE YOU-YOU WILL BE SORRY IF YOU DO!!!!!!!! BIGGEST SCAM/SHADY DEALER I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH-I HAVE PURCHASED 7 VEHICLES-NEVER HAD TO DEAL WITH ANY OF THIS NONSENSE ANYWHERE ELSE. THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEF'S AND LIARS AND SELL UNSAFE VEHICLES WITH MULTIPLE PROBLEMS THEY SWEAR THEY WILL FIX BEFORE YOU PICK IT UP HOLD IT FOR 6 DAYS AFTER YOU BUY IT-THEN HAVE IT FOR 8 MORE DAYS THAT SAME MONTH AND NOT ONE OF THE PROBLEMS WILL BE FIXED NOT ONLY WILL THE EXISTING PROBLEMS NOT BE FIXED-YOU WILL END UP WITH NEW PROBLEMS ONCE YOU GET IT HOME BECAUSE THE MECHANIC THEY USE IS A TOTAL HACK. THE OWNER IS xxxxxxx LIAR WHO STEALS FROM PEOPLE CLAIMING THEY NO LONGER HAVE YOUR OLD VEHICLE TO GIVE BACK TO YOU AND THAT THE COSTS TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE THEY SOLD YOU COVER WHAT THE TRADE WAS OR NOT GIVING YOU BACK YOUR PREVIOUS VEHICLE IN A "BUY BACK" OF CURRENT VEHICLE-BREAKING ALL SORTS OF LAWS. Dwayne is great to work with! I have bought several vehicles over the years and I have to say that this by far has had the best costumer service. From the start of getting my loan I have bought several vehicles over the years and I have to say that this by far has had the best costumer service. From the start of getting my loan to driving out of the lot in my new vehicle, Dwayne was helpful, communicative and attentive to the little details. I appreciated his hard work and willingness to lend a hand when I took my test drive (I had to transfer baby and car seat) and he was more then happy to help. Never AGAIN! DO NOT BUY HERE! YOU'LL Be SORRY! signed the deal on 3/2/17 couldn't pick up the car until 3/9/17. When I went to pick it up the car salesman said it' DO NOT BUY HERE! YOU'LL Be SORRY! signed the deal on 3/2/17 couldn't pick up the car until 3/9/17. When I went to pick it up the car salesman said it's good to go it's been safety checked, and detailed. Go to the car, gas was almost on E, inside and out was completely dirty! Didn't complain. Drove off and realized there was a crack in the windshield and the brakes were bad. Called them 5 minutes later and dropped the car back off to be fixed. Picked it up again on 3/11/17. Drove the car home and parked it until 3/12/17. On 3/12 I pulled out of the garage, drove 10 minutes to red light. When the light turned green and I hit the gas, the car went BACKWARDS and almost hit the person behind me! The car would not move forward. I had to be pushed out of the street by 2 guys driving by. I called the dealership and they told me there was nothing they could do until Monday. Monday they picked up the car and I haven't had the car since. No accommodations have been made for me whatsoever! I have been commuting to work and dropping my children off to school ON THE MBTA! Today is 3/16/17 and I Still don't have my car! I have remained calm and professional the ENTIRE TIME & it Got me NO WHERE! I just want to cancel the whole deal and go through a more reputable dealership. They won't cancel the deal! More
