Why would you replace somehting on my truck if it did not need it and then charge me for it after you told me you guys screwed up to begin with. my parents attempted to purchase a car at lomans. they signed all the paperwork and were told this would be their monthly price. then all the trouble started. the financial lending institution called my p signed all the paperwork and were told this would be their monthly price. then all the trouble started. the financial lending institution called my parents at home numerously alerting them to the fact that their was a problem with their application. why didnt lomans call since they are the ones who dealt with the bank to get the loan initially? my parents went down to lomans on 3 different occasions over the course of 2 days. during which time i received a phone call from this pat sweeny saying that hes been trying now for a couple of days to get ahold of my dad who had just left lomans. this pat sweeny is a real piece of work. they now were telling my dad he needed to come up with more info for the bank which he did. the paperwork was never sufficient. they also went up higher on the per month cost of the car than from the original agreed upon price. finally my dad was willing to pay cash for the car if they came down on the price which they said fine. when my dad showed up with cash they changed the price of the car to $2000 above the price they agreed on. the problem my parents faced was they already gave up their leased car that they were gonna purchase because lomans assured them they would be able to make a deal and then they LIED. the worst thing of all here is that my parents are senior citizens and got taken advantage of in the worst way possible. this dealership and pat sweeny are the worst. DONT EVER GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP THEY ARE LIARS AND CHEATERS. More
Our Ford van needed some servicing that was covered under warranty. I also scheduled a tune-up and oil change to my car. Loman's service department charged me $300.00 for a diagnostic test (when you hook u warranty. I also scheduled a tune-up and oil change to my car. Loman's service department charged me $300.00 for a diagnostic test (when you hook up the computer to the car to diagnose a problem) and they charged me for it twice under the repair through the warranty and then under the tune-up! I disputed the double charge and was rudely spoken to by their service person (I believe his name was Greg), not the manager Vinny but the other guy there who works behind the counter. He was extremely rude and kept talking over me. I have never encountered such horrible customer service and was when I called the Ford dealership in the Caldwell area, they agreed that I should have had to pay a diagnosis charge for the tune-up! I called Greg back and explained to him what the other dealership said. He cut me off and told me "well, too bad." I couldn't believe it. He would not even allow me to transfer to speak with his manager Vinny. By the way, my son's diagnosis computer cost $400.00. Most dealers charge $90.00 to diagnose. I already had the codes for the warranty work. Since, then, I have heard many of the same rip off stories about Loman Ford of Parsippany. I will never return and tell everyone I know about the terrible customer service and scam they did on us. AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL! Corporate has been informed as well. More
I am shopping for a 2010 Mustang and ended up working with Pat Sweeney at Loman Ford, and although I have not yet made a purchase decision, it has been the best pre-sales car experience I have ever encou with Pat Sweeney at Loman Ford, and although I have not yet made a purchase decision, it has been the best pre-sales car experience I have ever encountered. He is courteous, informed, and always does what he says he will do. He politely answered every question I had. My previous experiences with car sales staff has been so bad, that I am writing this review to encourage and reward such exemplary sales conduct. More
Buyers Beware! This is not a place to purchase your vehicle. My experience with this dealership was not pleasant. I was very excited to be trading in my vehicle for a new SUV. I was ready to buy and began getting paperwork ready for my purchase. I was told "by the way, the car has over 1,000 miles on it" aside from the miles there where dents, dings and scrapes which all needed to be repaired. Why? I was told the owner takes out the cars and uses them for there personal use. So much for a new car. Make sure you look your potential car over and check mileage if you do purchase from them! This was the last straw! I agreed to have loman auto group incorporate my last month payment, trade in fee and tax to the new vehicle. They claimed they would send the payment to the old financial institution. They never did! I began receiving phone calls from the old financial institution that payment was never received. I called dealer, they said payment was sent. I let this go. Then the calls began again, I called the dealership back and they claimed they sent the check to the wrong address and they would cut another check. Great! WRONG. I received more calls from the institution claiming no payment. I called back the dealership and then I was promised the payment would be sent electronically. FINALLY after 3 months i received my last phone call from the old financial institution sternly stating still no payment received. Now, my account is well over 60 days past due, and this is now affecting MY CREDIT!!!! I called the dealership back. Was put on hold for 45 mins and I was told to call there accounting department in Woodridge because all the workers calling from Loman couldn't get a straight answer from them. I called the accounting department only to hear the same story, sent to wrong address need to stop payment and send another. I said THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE LAST MONTH! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO SEND PAYMENT ELECTRONICALLY. The woman replies to me "oh, we don't send payments electronically"!!! I was lied to, given the run around, no one cared about my situation, I was passed to (5) different people, my credit is damaged! Why on earth would you purchase a vechile from this establishment! I resolved this situation myself, no help from loman auto group or the accounting department in woodrige. I had to put over a thousand dollars on my personal credit card and demand they send me a check overnight! More

WATCH OUT FOR THE FAT GUY THAT ACTS AS THE SALES MANAGER. HE'S BEEN DOING THIS FOR AWHILE SO HE WILL TRY AND BANG YOU OUT ANYWAY HE CAN. HE DIDN'T GET THAT BIG NOT MAKING DEALS. WATCH YOURSELF. I would NEVER return to the this dealer. They used a bait and switch contract and I was screwed big time. I ended up having to pay over $1100 on a vehicle that was supposed to be paid off as a trade-in bait and switch contract and I was screwed big time.
