I had great experience with Loman. I spoke with Kelly internet rep on the phone. She was very helpful and polite. She answered all my questions and was very helpful. In need of a new car, so went to a Kia dealer for the first time. Bought a kia sorrento and was very pleased. The staff were very helpful. Cant really remember their names. The absolute worse experience with a dealer EVER. I had to pay off my trade-in! I had to contact the better business burau and the NJ Attorney General in order to get my money back for the trade in. Ms. L to pay off my trade-in! I had to contact the better business burau and the NJ Attorney General in order to get my money back for the trade in. Ms. LOMAN herself responded to the BBB and lied saying she had paid off my trade in, which I proved was a lie. I don't recommend this place to anyone. More
Over the Holiday vaction my husband took my college daughter to buy her a car for college, which we did. We live in New York but my husband works in New Jersey and that's where he decided to go BUT BUY daughter to buy her a car for college, which we did. LIES LIES LIES AND MORE LIES FIRST OF ALL WE NEVER GOT OUR PLATES FOR THE CAR WHICH WE PAID FOR. THEY TOLD US THAT IT WAS IN THE PROCESS BUT WE CALLED THE MV AND WE WERE TOLD FROM THE CITY WORKER THAT WE ARE NOT EVEN IN THE SYSTEM SO LATER A SECRETARY TOLD US THAT THE GUY WHO WAS SUPPOSE TO GO TO MV NEVER WENT AND HE WILL TRY TOMORROW. PLEASE REMEMBER ALL THIS TIME WE WERE TOLD IT WAS BEING PROCESSING... THAT CAR HAS BEEN SITTING IN THE DRIVEWAY AND THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN TO GET OUR PLATES. BESIDES THAT THE CAR WAS MISSING THE 2ND KEY WITH ALARM PAD AND THE SALEMAN TOLD US TO GO TO THE DEALER OURSELVES AND GET THE KEY AND HE WOULD GIVE US BACK THE MONEY. WE EVEN HAD HIM SIGN A PAPER TO GET THE MONEY BACK. TO LET YOU KNOW WE STILL HAVE NOT GOT BACK THE MONEY AND EVERYTIME WE CALL WE ARE TOLD SOMEONE IS NOT IN OR SOMEONE IS AT LUNCH OR SOMEONE IS OUT AND THIS IS ALL WITHIN 5 MINS OF CALLING. PS- also we were over charged and not given the price we were promised and the saleman jacked up the loan amount and then did some little reduction but in this mess we still winded up paying much more then original price and we can not even drive the car because of the plates and my daughter will be going back to college without her car. I wish I would have read this before we bought but I think is that Loman is a one time rob you sales place. They don't think because same customer would come back to get another car because cars don't last forever. More
Went there to try out a base Kia Soul. Wanted a manual, but they did not have one. Could get me one for 18.9k, which is about 3K ABOVE highest fully optioned MSRP for the model. Told me that that the bas but they did not have one. Could get me one for 18.9k, which is about 3K ABOVE highest fully optioned MSRP for the model. Told me that that the base model has roll up windows (!). Then when given the 18.9 k plus the trade-in value (actually book value for trade ins), that I refused, got a little visit from the manager who magically dropped price by 5k. Anyways, liars, liars, liars. More
I bought a neww 2012 Escape at this dealer and found out TO LATE that they added Extended warrenty and GAP insurence making the financing price higher then I had expected. Also they sent out in an email 4 days later that if I buy a car from them I would recieve a $1000 Visa gift card. and double my down payment.. AFTER I HAD MADE MY PURCHASE. FUNNY Also I had to make Decembers Payment on my trade in because it takes this dealer 10 days to pay off my trade in. Ford should take this dealers license away. I should have gone UPSTATE NY better deals and friendly sales. More
My experience was similar to many of the experiences I have been reading. My temporary license plates expired almost a month ago and as of 5 minutes ago I am still getting the run around and excuses abou have been reading. I have heard excuses ranging from the previous person is longer here and we are try to clean up her mess to we have a problem getting the title in order to get you plates. When I call and ask for a manager or ANYONE other than Mary who handles the motor vehicles paperwork, I am either still transferred to Mary or told a manager is in a meeting. More

My experience was similar to the first post in which I did not get my permanent plates before my temp expired. After some run around by the office person handling the paper work I left a message for John Loman (owner) to call me. He called me within the hour and was totally unaware of this problem. He promised to have the plates to me by the next morning (which he did) and apologized profusely for the delay. He also promised to straighten out that office so the same situation does not happen to other customers. He also gave me his personal cell phone number to call if I have any other problems concerning my new Kia in the future. I have to say Mr. Loman was very honest and sincere to me. Also, what other dealership owner would give you his personal cell number? I have to say, I would most certainly use this dealership for any future purchases. More
